I count the kapok trees in the ancient city of Quanzhou

Quanzhou is at a higher latitude than Guangzhou, so when the kapok flowers in Guangzhou are almost done blooming, those in Quanzhou are just at the peak of their bloom. The ancient city of Quanzhou has many historical buildings, and there are kapok trees around the scenic area. The fiery red kapok against the unique red houses of Southern Fujian makes spring even more vibrant.
