We booked a comfortable Georgian room and the hotel offered us a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. The breakfast provided was the best I've seen in years. A very diverse range of options, very well presented. Top marks for the hotel chef! The service was also very good. Everything was fine. We didn't have time to use the pub or restaurant, so we only paid for the room. If you book directly with the hotel, there is a very useful free parking lot.
