Lake Ladoga

Lake Ladoga is located in the northwest of Russia, with a superior geographical location, between the Republic of Karelia and Leningrad Oblast, not far from St. Petersburg (about 65 kilometers), it is the source of the Neva River, and also the largest freshwater lake in Europe, with an area of 18,000 square kilometers, roughly equivalent to 4.3 times the size of Poyang Lake (China's largest freshwater lake). The lake is vast and boundless, sitting on the beach, it is hard to distinguish whether it is a lake or a sea.
