One of the Five Major Classical Gardens in the Misty Rain of Jiangnan · Qushui Garden

Recently, the maple leaves have turned red, and the autumn atmosphere is strong. Qushui Garden is a historic garden with origins tracing back to the 10th year of the Qianlong reign. At that time, it was called Ling Garden and existed as an auxiliary garden of the City God Temple. Legend has it that during its construction, the garden owner collected one wen (a small coin) from every resident in the city, which is why Qushui Garden is also known as the "One Wen Garden." It is located on Gongyuan Road in Qingpu District, Shanghai. Originally built in the 10th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, it has a history of over 270 years and is ranked alongside Yuyuan Garden, Guyi Garden, Qiuxiapu, and Zuibaichi as one of Shanghai's five major classical gardens. It is more suitable for self-driving. For subway transfers, it is recommended to take Line 17 to Qingpu Xincheng Station and then take a taxi.
