Day 9 of the Southern Xinjiang Journey: Alar-Aksu Tormud Grand Canyon

The Tormud Grand Canyon, also known as the Wensu Grand Canyon, is a large-scale scenic area with spectacular views that can rival the Grand Canyon in the United States. There are ten valleys in the scenic area, and we chose the third, fourth, and sixth valleys. There are shuttle buses at the entrance of the scenic area, and you can also drive your own four-wheel drive into the area (a fee of 100 is charged). The Tormud Grand Canyon is definitely worth a visit. Compared to the Tianshan Grand Canyon that we visited later, if I had to choose one over the other, I would definitely say the Tormud Grand Canyon is the better choice.
