Probably the best park in Taipei. Everything is new, everything is green. Fresh air, wonderful views, excellent Instagram photos. It’s a bit hot in afternoon, but have a lot of places where you can hide from sunshine. Getting There - short walk from Shilin MRT station (around 7-8 minutes) Attractions - nice photos for your Instagram Hotels, Food & Restaurants - next to the park is Renaissance Hotel Taipei. You can stop by for some coffee or nice Chinese dinner. #taipeitravel #summertrip

#bucketlistreboot Shilin Official Residence is historical site open to the public. Formerly is the home Chiang Kai Shek. As strictly no picture around, it’s very tricky to sneak a snap of the residence. The range of bedroom, study room and also guests room are fully displayed. No, you cannot walk to sit at the chairs or sofa, just look. Saw a range of old clothings from Mrs Chiang. It is surrounded by greenery and garden. Picture shared included one of his transport during the days in office. Entry to the garden is for free but to enter the residence , 100NTD. Again, try to get Taiwan Pass that cover the entrance . To get here it is pretty easy, just use the transit to Shilin station.
