Takayama Festival | Japan

The Takayama Festival, one of Japan's most beautiful festivals alongside Kyoto's Gion Matsuri and the Chichibu Yomatsuri, takes place twice a year in the old town of Takayama. The Fall Festival is held annually on Oct 9 and 10 at the Hachiman Shrine in the northern part of the old town, and it's part of the Takayama Festival. This picturesque festival generally draws a big crowd.
