A day trip to Tiantai Mountain Waterfall

A few friends and I decided to take advantage of the few days off in the first month of the year to visit Tiantai Mountain. We had looked at the travel guide beforehand, and with only one day's time, we could only visit the waterfall, Qiongtai Xian Valley, and Guoqing Temple. According to our plan, we set off from home at 7:30 in the morning and got on the highway. Unexpectedly, there was an accident on the highway, which delayed us a lot. It took us more than 4 hours to travel a distance that should have taken 2 hours. Therefore, we decided to go directly to the waterfall. We arrived at Tiantai Mountain Waterfall at noon, and we simply ate some dry food we brought with us for lunch (this saved time). First, let's talk about the entrance fee. The combined ticket for the waterfall, Qiongtai Xian Valley, and Huixian Bridge is 165 yuan. We estimated that we should have enough time, so we bought the combined ticket (due to the time of the visit, the combined ticket is not sold after 1 pm). (Note: Teachers with 30-year honor certificates can enjoy free admission to the waterfall and Qiongtai Xian Valley, but they need to buy a separate ticket for Huixian Bridge. It is recommended that those who have it bring it). The waterfall is very spectacular. I heard that it is man-made. When the staff get off work, the waterfall also needs to close the gate and rest. We spent 5 hours walking around and taking pictures in the scenic area before we walked out of the exit of Qiongtai Xian Valley. Then we took the free bus back to the visitor center. Those who do not go to Qiongtai Xian Valley and Huixian Bridge can directly take the bus back to the visitor center parking lot at the side of Huixian Bridge. We will visit Guoqing Temple and other attractions when we have the opportunity next time.
