The Hinayana Buddhism is prosperous in Laos. Among them, the Xiangkun Temple in the suburb of Vientiane is the most unique. Xiangkun is the "city of the gods". This temple does not have a temple dedicated to Buddha statues. On the large lawn, there are nearly 100 different kinds of Buddha statues, also called "Buddha Park". There are two treasures in the park: one is the shape of a pumpkin, the Heaven of Heaven tower symbolizing the reincarnation of life, and the other is a large reclining Buddha with a length of more than 40 meters. It is said to be the size of the reclining Buddha in Myanmar and Thailand. This Buddha Park has nearly 100 Buddha statues in different styles. It combines Buddhism and Hindu style, including Buddha, Guanyin and Hindu three main gods. The shadows of Thailand, India, Laos and other countries can be seen in large and small Buddha statues.
