It's not too difficult during the off-peak season (book a week in advance for holidays) ⚠️Remember to enter according to your scheduled time slot 🎧We found a guide online in advance, but the experience was mediocre due to the crowd and the guide's lack of thoroughness 🔖The museum's official guide or a private small group tour might be better 2⃣️Giant Wild Goose Pagoda 🎫You don't need to enter the pagoda area to take photos 📸️Photograph the pagoda and the Buddha at the Daci'en Temple Ruins Park, preferably in the evening 📸️Photograph the pagoda and Xuanzang at the Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City, preferably in the evening or at night 3⃣️Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City 🎫Free entry ⏰It's a short walk from the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. The place starts to liven up around 6 pm 💃Stroll along the main street. Performances start at 7 pm, including the Weeble Wobble performance at 7:30 pm next to the Coco Bubble Tea shop 4⃣️Xi'an City Wall 🎫¥54 per person, multiple entries allowed within a day 🗺️We entered from the north gate, Anyuan Gate, and then took a bus to Yongning Gate to avoid buying tickets again 🚴‍♀️You can also rent a bike to ride on the city wall 📸️You can photograph the Bell Tower from Yongning Gate and Anyuan Gate. If you're going in the afternoon like us, it's better to shoot from Yongning Gate 5⃣️Stele Forest Museum 🎫¥50 per person during the off-peak season 📍It's near Yongning Gate, so you can visit both places together 🔖If you can't book the Shaanxi History Museum, you must visit the Stele Forest Museum! 🎧We recommend finding a professional guide. Good guides also need to be booked in advance 😋Food Guide 📍Ma Hong's Stir-fry and Bread Soaking Restaurant ★★★★☆ The stir-fry and bread soaking combo is quite filling. One serving is enough for two people 📍Hu Zi's Lamb in Basin ★★★ The lamb in basin is average, but the grilled skewers sandwiched in baked buns are delicious!! 📍Ma Le's Barbecue ★★★★☆ We went there at 10 pm and only lamb skewers and crispy bones were left, but the skewers were top-notch! The eight-treasure porridge was also tasty! Ma Bo's Barbecue is also said to be good 📍Lao Wu's Oil Tea and Twisted Dough Strips ★★★★☆ The small classic combo for ¥6 is a great breakfast! 📍Ai Hua's Belt Noodle Restaurant ★★★★★ The servings are large and delicious! You eat from a face basin! 📍Qin Yu's Meat Sandwich ★★★★★ Located next to Ai Hua's Belt Noodle Restaurant, the meat sandwich is incredibly hearty. We even took two on the plane!
