Guangxi Self-driving Tour (Part 8)

Tianbao Ancient Village is located in Yifeng County, Yichun City, and is a well-preserved ancient village. There are more than 170 buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties in the village, and the ancient houses, ancestral halls, streets, and wells have been properly maintained, reflecting their former glory. It seems that the village has been developed into a scenic area, but there was no one on duty, and we were the only group of tourists wandering around. The village is quite peaceful, with only the elderly hanging out laundry, chatting, and visiting each other, responding to our inquiries and chats with generosity and calmness. Many of the old houses in the village are still inhabited, and some have display boards that indicate the village has produced many successful imperial scholars and businessmen, and is a typical southern village with a tradition of valuing agriculture and education.
