Holiday Inn & Suites Shin Osaka

The staff are so kind, considerate and did their best to help us. We had purchased disneysea tickets from Lawson before the temporary closure extended. The phone line only spoke Japanese so the front desk girls called for us to try to get us a refund. Honestly they didn't have to do that, and despite not being able to get the refund I am very happy with their help. I will definitely return back to this hotel and recommend it to friends and family in the future. #couplestrip #lakes

The hotel is located above the 20th floor of the building. I had booked a deluxe room, but upgraded to a corner room. This allowed me to admire the view on both sides. Sitting on the couch in the corner would make a nice pose for the camera. Or, you can take a bath at night and enjoy the skyline. I intentionally booked an eastward-facing room so that I could watch the sunrise. When sitting by the café window, don't forget to look outside.

Settsukyo park is known for its sakura and very popular place during spring season but in fact it is also stunning during autumn season. You can choose from 5 hiking trails whick one best suits your interest. In my case, I choose the letter B trail which where I can fully enjoy nature viewing. After the trail, theres a river where you can enjoy fishing. #givethanks

A Visit to Onji Shrine: Tradition in Peaceful Serenity

Located in Yao, Osaka, Onji Shrine is notable for its tranquil atmosphere and beautiful natural scenery. Upon entering the shrine, visitors are greeted by traditional architecture and well-maintained gardens. The changing landscapes with each season add to its charm, offering a sense of peace to visitors. It was a time of finding inner calm alongside those in prayer. The surrounding trees and cherry blossoms make it an ideal spot for photography. Additionally, small shops around the shrine sell traditional sweets and souvenirs, adding a touch of delight. If you want to escape the city and enjoy a leisurely time, Onji Shrine is highly recommended.

A Day Out in Osaka

I am totally in awe with this Tower built in 1912 then rebuilt in 1956 after it perished during a fire. Along the streets to this spot were restaurants, stores, cinemas and other premises with colorful lights and signages. It has been a prominent landmark in Shinsekai area. Most importantly, it is not only used a view point, but also houses other attractions as slide and Pocky exhibition. Head over to this place and come experience the slide. im sure u gonna love it.

Less than 30 minutes queue and I manage to try this YI RAN RAMEN at Umeda 👍🏻 I love spicy, so I asked for 2X spicy but I felt I need more 🌶️ The taste was great, I finished the entire bowl including the soup 🍜 the broth is very appetising and the noodles very chewy, I prefer slightly hard to be more chewy. I think it’s worth a try if you haven’t try once in your lifetime. The price is a little pricey as one bowl is close to RM40. #winhkflight #Osaka #Ramen

Osaka is so beautiful I love this place

Osaka and Nara are both a beautiful place in Japan. Would recommend anyone to go as it is amazing place to travel. The culture and people are so friendly. So many temples and shrines to explore that I wished I had more time to go and see. Food is also very good here and love trying all the street food. Very clean place and will be coming back again to explore more of Japan.

Cascade Garden in Osaka

#thingstodo A well-maintained promenade. A walking course with a pleasant river breeze from the Okawa River. It has an elegant atmosphere as it is connected to the Imperial Hotel. I can just walk. The bottom is also in good condition, making it easy for wheelchair and stroller users to move around. It's a quiet place with not many people. It is well managed. Things that I love.

Classic Japanese Garden

#thingstodo Loved it. Charming location, friendly staff and surprisingly accessible rates for the service! The garden is lovely and located not far from a gorgeous park by the river with blossoms that stretch as far as the eye can see! This is a classic Japanese garden oasis in the middle of Osaka which should not be missed! About a 5-10 minute stroll through the garden will bring you past flowering Lotus plants floating in the pond, an exotic curved slab of rock functioning as a small 7m bridge, a tranquil path through Japanese maple trees, and another interesting rock bridge partially submerged in the pond. Your feet will stay dry don’t worry!

Beautiful Garden in Otsubo

#thingstodo You won't believe riees like these even possibly exist. Very nicely planned rose garden with a waterfall and a creek running through. Great variety of tea rose hybrids from all the world. In October little poor blooming, however every bush has some flowers. Nice fountain at the entrance. Popular place to photograph kinds and microscopic dogs. Seems August is ghr best time to visit, but still very enjoyable in Early October as well. Punlic access free, toilets at the entrance.

The Magical Fountain

#thingstodo There is a fountain where you can splash. (Late April to end of September) It's free, easy, and perfect for preschoolers to play in the water. Many children are enjoying the hot days. It was a good idea to bring a one-touch tent as the sun drains your energy. The fountain will run for 5 minutes every 20 minutes. It gets very crowded in the summer, but the children seem to be having fun playing there.
