#Amazon Rainforest Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
living in the world’s largest rainforest
my journey in the Amazon Rainforest starts in Manaus, Brazil…on a tiny boat with local driver I go along the Rio Negro followed by Rio Amazonas and in a day I’m in the largest tropical rainforest in the world (48 times the size of USA!).
What’s the feeling? As soon you are of the boat you feel disoriented…everywhere vegetation, so dense that cannot even see the sky!
And what is even more special is that daytime is so quite…looks like nobody is there, but as soon the sun goes away…the music begin! It’s like millions of the creatures living in the forest wake up and start chatting in different languages! unbelievable sound…that goes all night!
my experience of living in the Amazon forest even for just few days has been a wonderful experience! and the villagers are very friendly:)

Adventures in the Amazon Rainforest
My recent expedition into the heart of the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil was an unparalleled adventure, far removed from Birmingham's urban life. Although it's in a different country, the Amazon Rainforest offers an extraordinary and remote wilderness experience.
The #AmazonAdventure begins with a journey deep into the jungle. The vastness and biodiversity of the rainforest are awe-inspiring. The lush green canopy stretches as far as the eye can see, and the sounds of wildlife surround you, making every moment an immersive experience.
Exploring the rainforest on guided treks allowed me to encounter incredible creatures like monkeys, colorful birds, and elusive jaguars. The Amazon River, with its meandering channels, provides opportunities for boat safaris where you can spot river dolphins, caimans, and vibrant aquatic life.
One of the highlights was spending a night in a jungle lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the forest at night. It's a truly immersive way to connect with nature.
The indigenous communities in the Amazon offer a unique cultural experience. Meeting the local tribes and learning about their traditions, such as tribal dances and medicinal plant knowledge, was a humbling and educational experience.
For those seeking a sustainable adventure, many eco-lodges in the Amazon focus on conservation efforts and provide a responsible way to explore the rainforest.
When planning a trip to the Amazon, it's important to prepare for the region's tropical climate and be aware of the potential presence of insects and wildlife. It's also crucial to follow responsible tourism practices to minimize your impact on this fragile ecosystem.
In conclusion, the Amazon Rainforest offers a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for nature enthusiasts and those seeking a remote and immersive experience. Whether you're drawn to the wildlife, the culture, or the sheer beauty of the jungle, the Amazon is a destination that will leave you with unforgettable memories. #AmazonWilderness #RainforestAdventure

I have lived in the Amazon rainforest in Peru for a few days.
Followed by our guide to visit the original tribe... I don't know if it is because of tourism development, the children in the tribe have pure eyes, but less of a naughty child.
prematurely carrying the burden of life
For centuries, nature has always led people to cross the ocean, carry out unstoppable exploration, and come to the magical Amazon rainforest, not only revealing the original tribal civilization, but also shaping the fate of the rainforest. It is like a flowing nightmare, attracting people to go forward.
The entire Amazon rainforest, covering an area of 7 million square kilometers, spans eight countries and spans almost the entire South American continent. It has a reputation for being old and mysterious. No one can say for sure how much of this kind of ancient, little-known language is covered by the vastness of the river and the dense forests.
When the night is quiet, in the depths of the Amazon rainforest, the guide sits under the only straw shed and picks up a slightly dark light that drives the mosquitoes raging in the forest. "Only lucky people can meet such a clear galaxy here. The weather in the rain forest is always changing, especially on nights when the rain is more frequent." He looked up at the starry night sky. Suddenly, a few black clouds rolled from a distance, and the sky dimmed.
The Amazon Rainforest is a mysterious and novel animal world with countless primitive and ancient wildlife. From poison dart frogs to all kinds of forest apes, from colorful birds to reptiles, everything is there.
Where you walked into it, it was as if you walked into a magical animal kingdom and walked slowly through the various animals. It was very interesting.
The Amazon rainforest spans eight countries in South America, and most of them have access to the Amazon rainforest. However, because of the convenience of transportation, the maturity level of travel development is different, so there are some differences in prices. Among them, the most popular and relatively mature countries in the Amazon region are Brazil and Peru.
Brazil's gateway city is Manaus, Peru is Maldonado Port, starting from the country for 15 days or so, the total cost is about 450,000 or so. Amazon's local indigenous diet is relatively unique. For example, fried insects, crocodile meat, etc., which are common along the street, may be difficult for local tourists. However, as more and more foreign tourists and local businessmen enter, most towns can still find fried chicken, rice and other meals, some cities or hotels, and some quite good Western restaurants. If you live in the Resort around the rainforest, it is usually a buffet. The choices are quite rich, and the taste can basically satisfy foreign tourists. If you enter the rainforest hinterland, each meal needs to be cooked by the guide. Therefore, the taste of the food depends entirely on the cooking of the guide.
According to experience, most guides can do some simple fried eggs, fried fish, etc., but they can only be used for fruit. So before entering the rainforest, it is best to bring some food in advance to prevent eating food that you are not used to.
Traveling through the pristine jungle, you can often hear the huge squeaks that rang through the entire rainforest. The first time I heard these screams, I thought it was a giant beast that was fighting for a desperate struggle, imagining a scene of cruelty and blood, and it was a matter of heart. However, it was later discovered that these sounds came from a monkey unique to the jungle, the apes.
These monkeys are one of the largest monkeys in the American continent. They have hair around their face and a thick nose. Strong body, covered with thick, thick black, brown, red and other long hair, and with the sun's light intensity and projection angle, change from gold green to purple red and other colors, Looking very beautiful. They like to walk on the limbs, rarely jump, and the tail can provide extra support. The most striking thing about these guys is the huge buzz they make.
Because their tongues are particularly large, they can form a special echo. Whenever it needs to send out a variety of different nature of the paging signal, it will be an unusually loud buzzing sound, constantly ringing in the forest canopy, sometimes a few apes gather together, roaring the call sign, shocking the four wild, the giant The sound can make humans a few kilometers away, clearly hear their voices, full of shock and impact.
The aborigines living in Amazon have the habit of hunting. Although many species have become the national protected animals of Brazil, the villagers have gradually abandoned hunting. However, many animals have accidentally received injuries because of the existence of a large number of hunting traps. They formed an animal international rescue organization in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. They are composed of animal protectionists and doctors from all over the world. The funds come from social donations, and the staff is also passionate about it.
I am very honored to be one of them, take care of the injured animals in just three days, let them return to the rainforest as soon as possible, and every moment they come into contact with them will make people love the world more. .
Life in the city is often faint and lacks brilliance; into the romantic tropical rainforest surrounded by green, and in the pure nature of the Amazon, let the long-repressed emotions be released;
The strange animals hidden in this jungle are undoubtedly the most dazzling stars of Amazon. Their every move will make me unable to stop to watch; their funny movements and expressions often lead me and the guide to laugh; and their alertness and attack, and involuntarily tighten the nerves. These experiences have become a valuable asset in life and the most memorable memory of Amazon.
Among the many animals hidden in the rainforest, the most hilarious is the slow-moving three-toed sloth. Its shape is similar to that of the monkeys. The claws are usually hung upside down on the branches. No matter what happens around them, they don't move half an inch for hours. Presumably, the name of the "slazy" comes from it.
In addition, the sloth is still the only wild animal with plants. Although it has feet, it can't walk with it, but rely on the forelegs to drag the body forward.
Whenever a new sun rises to the sky, the creek water jumps through the dense forest, and the morning of the Amazon is peaceful and peaceful, and it is immersive to feel the purity of nature. Among the lush tropical jungles, the alert squirrel monkeys are hiding between the treetops, climbing toward the trees and looking for food. Moussa guided me to observe and introduce that these animals with unique skills are the land
