Solo travel
🌷The places I went alone include: Seoul, Chiang Mai, Bali, not many, but they are all classic tourist cities. From the beginning of worry, to the middle of some - the most exciting part of solo travel should be in complete freedom and complete unknown. Accepting these, the journey always has wonderful surprises beyond expectations.
No matter where you go, safety is the most important issue. Even though I love traveling alone, I am always troubled by this issue before every trip.
My idea is that classic travel destinations, especially those that have been developed for a long time, have relatively mature facilities, with direct flights, large ride-hailing apps, or relay services that can be booked on platforms like Ctrip. It is relatively convenient and safe for solo travelers.
🌷Transportation: Classic travel cities are mostly directly accessible by plane, and airport transportation is relatively convenient. Big cities have subways or airport buses, and Chiang Mai and Bali can also be accessed by taxi apps. After getting on the car, send the itinerary to parents or friends, and also inform them when getting off. Although some places may actually be more expensive to use taxi apps, I call this obtaining the driver's real-name authentication information.
For daily transportation, I prioritize subway or direct buses. If neither is available or not direct, I will basically take a taxi. In places where motorcycles are available, I tend to choose motorcycles personally because they are not enclosed environments. However, in terms of traffic safety, motorcycles are definitely walking traffic bombs. If there are pedestrians, I will also prioritize choosing a car.
🌷Accommodation: hotels in city center or scenic areas. For example, stay in Gangnam District in Seoul, Old City in Chiang Mai, Siam in Bangkok, and Kuta in Bali. Almost no activities are arranged at night, and if there are any, they will be dining and shopping near the city center, and will not go to places with few people and relatively dark.
🌷Eating: If you want to go to a restaurant you crave for alone, don't be afraid to ask for a table for one. In my experience, there aren't really that many restaurants that require a minimum of two people. If you can't finish all the food you want to try, it's a matter of mindset. I usually choose the top two dishes I want to try and see how much they serve. If it's a lot, I'll just stick to those two. If it's not enough, I'll add other dishes I want to try. If it's really good, I'll make time to go back to the restaurant later in my trip. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to go to so many restaurants just for the sake of checking in. My goal is to try delicious local food in big cities. Whether it's from one restaurant or several doesn't matter to me. When I was in Bali, I went to the same restaurant for dinner two days in a row and ordered different dishes each time. The waiter took beautiful photos for me each time, and the experience itself was very enjoyable.

The capital of the Thai Ayutthaya Dynasty, with over 600 years of palace ruins and more than 200 preserved ancient pagodas.
Ayutthaya, with its ancient and dreamy name, was once the capital of the prosperous Ayutthaya Kingdom in Thailand for over 600 years, serving as the political and economic center of the longest-lasting dynasty in Thai history. Despite centuries of wind and rain erosion and war destruction, the ruins of this ancient city have been preserved to this day. Known as the "Ancient Rome of Thailand" and comparable to Xi'an in China and Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya is home to numerous palace, temple, and pagoda ruins that continue the legacy of the Ayutthaya Kingdom.
Located north of the capital city of Bangkok, Dachengfu was once the most glorious capital city in Thai history, but now it is rarely visited by tourists, and it is full of unfamiliarity with this fallen royal capital. Upon entering Dachengfu, the signs of Ayutthaya can be seen everywhere, and the glorious history of the Dacheng Dynasty is still engraved in every corner of the city. In 1350, King Uthong established the Ayutthaya Dynasty here, later annexing Sukhothai, and was known as the Dacheng Dynasty, which lasted for 417 years before being invaded and destroyed by Myanmar.
With the changes of history, the capital of Thailand moved southward, and Ayutthaya lost its glorious status, becoming a small city in the north of Bangkok, named Ayutthaya Province. However, history has left Ayutthaya with a rich cultural heritage of architecture, including the Ayutthaya Historical Park standing in the city center, the millennium-old Wat Mahathat, the cliff-top Wat Chaiwatthanaram, the Wat Phra Ram, and the ancient Buddhist pagodas that occasionally appear in the center of the city's roads, all telling the extraordinary history of Ayutthaya.
The Mahathat Temple, as a landmark of the ancient city ruins, stands in the center of the city. The temple was built during the Sukhothai period, and the main tower of Mahathat is a typical Sukhothai-style Buddhist stupa with a lotus-shaped spire. It is built entirely of red clay and resembles a lotus bud waiting to bloom, standing in the center of the ancient city for more than 700 years.
In the ancient city ruins area, you can still see the broken walls of the ancient city walls, and the square foundations of the brick-paved ground can still reveal the architectural layout of the ancient city palace and temple. The intact ancient city wall protects the remains of the large city for more than 700 years. Walking through it, the ancient charm and glory of the Great City Dynasty still shine.
Transportation: Bangkok to Ayutthaya train costs 3 baht.
Ticket: Scenic spot ticket 10 yuan, all-inclusive ticket 50 yuan.
Recommended attractions: Mahathat Temple, Historical Park, Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, Ayutthaya Temple, Wat Chaiwatthanaram, and Wat Phra Si Sanphet.

Thailand's "Angkor Wat" Reality Lost Empire | Bangkok Ayutthaya
One talks about Thailand! Many people's minds may appear in the minds of Pattaya, Bangkok, Samui. In fact, there are many tourist attractions in Thailand that can represent its national characteristics. For example, it is known as the Little Angkor Wat in Thailand. It is located on the banks of the Basha River more than 70 kilometers north of Bangkok. It used to be the capital of the Thai dynasty. After thirty-three Thai dynasties, it is also a glorious ancient city with hundreds of years of history. Many precious ancient ruins are very worthy of a visit to Ayutthaya!
I am in the big city at noon. There are not many Chinese tourists, most of them are local tourists from Thailand and European and American tourists. Although the weather is hot, but the green shades everywhere are still refreshing, not only the ruins of the ancient city palaces that are hidden in the shade of the green, I feel a sad mood in my heart. Various ancient cities, temples and statues stand on the ruins. I close my eyes and can imagine the magnificent palaces and magnificent Buddhist temples. Every detail can feel the imprint of time. Prosperity and defeat are overnight. I took a lot of photos and many of the sights are really like the Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Its really a Thai Little Angkor
Focus: I think many people come to Dacheng It is to hit the place where the tree is holding the head of the Buddha in the Mahathat Temple! It is said that when the Mahathat was looted by the Burmese army, the Buddha head in the temple was knocked down and rolled down under the Bodhi tree. It was integrated into the storm for four hundred years, and it was peaceful forever. I am inexplicably impressed by this magical power. There are many other attractions in Ayutthaya, and you need to buy a ticket, usually around 10RMB.
Traffic :(From Bangkok Valley)
Take the Blue MRT to HuaLamphong Station, the exit is the largest fire station in Bangkok Find the ticket office and say you want to go to Ayutthaya, first class Air conditioning fan 50RMB; the cheapest is the third-class station ticket 4RMB, the station ticket does not have a fixed seat, you need to find the empty seat on the corresponding car. Its not more than two hours, and the fire tickets to Ayutthaya dont have to be bought in advance. Every half hour there is a ~
Take the BTS at Mochit Station/MRT at ChatuChak Park Station. By bus Minwan, you can go to Ayutthaya, 90 / person, starting with 12 people, the seat is quite comfortable, about an hour and a half drive, sleep in the car.
I am directly from Bangkok. I am probably more than 500 RMB. I think it is quite convenient. A big seven-seat business car and friends from all walks of life can sit down.
It is recommended to book a day trip to Ayutthaya on various major tourist platforms, and pick up and drop off at Bangkok hotels. Prices range from 400RMB to 700RMB. See your actual needs.
In Ayutthaya, away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok's big city, the romance of Samui Island, but it really calms down and relaxes. Physical and mental, slow down and really feel the rise and fall of a city.
Pan_Nabai.
Ayutthaya is located in central Thailand, 76 km from Bangkok. In the distant fifteenth century, in 1350, the king of Wutong of Thailand established the kingdom of Ayutthaya here. It was sealed by the Ming Dynasty of China as the King of Siam. He lived for more than 400 years and flourished in culture, art and trade until he was occupied by the Burma Army in 1767. The invasion is over.
Ayutthaya is also known as Ayutthaya. Like our Yuanmingyuan, the ancient big city has also suffered the fate of the invaders plundering and setting fire, leaving only the visible walls to break and fall. The remains of Buddha statues in the ground are sighing. It is said that in the three remaining spires somewhere in the ruins of the Great Wall, three ashes of the ancient King Ayutthaya were buried, and in the process of repairing the ruins, some treasures of small Buddha statues and jewels were often found.
In the ruins of the ancient kingdom in the shade of the trees, it seems that you can see the elephants moving around. Whether it is a residual wall, a sloping ancient tower, or a ground or a ladder, all of them are made of red bricks of different sizes, just because the age is too long, the wall base has already experienced the undulating undulation caused by the collapse, and many residual walls are also Like the ancient tower, it is worrying that it will collapse completely one day.

The underrated hidden gems around Bangkok for tourism
Every time I return to Bangkok, I make sure to spend a day in Ayutthaya for lunch and a leisurely stroll.
📍 Ayutthaya is an ancient capital with a long history.
It rose to prominence in 1350 and over the course of 417 years, it saw 33 monarchs until its fall in 1767 when the Burmese army captured Ayutthaya, marking the end of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. After the kingdom was reestablished by King Taksin, the capital was moved south. The original royal capital's ruins are now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
🚙 It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Bangkok, and a private car hire for a day with a choice of three attractions costs approximately 3500 baht for 2-4 people.
💕 The midday heat can be intense, so it's best to find a riverside restaurant or coffee shop for a leisurely lunch and a cold drink between 1200-1430 before heading out again.

Day Trip Guide to Ayutthaya from Bangkok
🛕 Ayutthaya: A province in the central part of Thailand! Located 72 kilometers north of Bangkok on the banks of the Pa Sak River, Ayutthaya is an hour's drive from downtown Bangkok. It was once the capital of the Thai kingdom, from its establishment in 1350 until its fall to Burma in 1767. It flourished for hundreds of years, leaving behind many precious ancient ruins!
💁♂️Personal Experience: The attractions in downtown Bangkok didn't impress me much, but I really liked Ayutthaya and hope everyone will make the trip despite the distance. I didn't have enough time this visit and rushed through in one day, feeling it wasn't enough! Next time, I must stay for two days and take my time to explore again, I love Ayutthaya so much!
🚘About Transportation
1️⃣ Take the train from Bangkok, the round-trip fare is 30 Thai Baht, and it takes 1.5 hours one way! Once there, you need to hire a tuk-tuk or use the Bolt app to call a car!
2️⃣ Charter/rent a car: Charter price: around 3000 Thai Baht, refer to car rental apps for renting! It takes 1 hour to drive there!
3️⃣ Additionally: You can book a day trip to Ayutthaya on Taobao for 269 yuan! It includes admission fees, round-trip transfer costs, and full service from a Chinese-speaking guide!
🛕Day Trip Itinerary
📍Bang Pa-In Summer Palace
📍Ayutthaya retreat, ancient architecture from the Ayutthaya era
📍Wat Chaiwatthanaram
📍Wat Mahathat
📍Wat Ratchaburana
📷Photography:
There are dozens of temple ruins in Ayutthaya, and it takes two to three days to see them all carefully. You can choose a few key ruins to visit!
🎫Admission
Most temple tickets are 50 Thai Baht, or you can buy a pass for 220 Thai Baht/day!
💁♂️Recommendation: It's worth buying a pass if you plan to visit 5 or more attractions. Each temple is quite similar, and if you are taking a taxi or biking, it's unlikely you'll visit more than 5. If you also want to shop and eat, time will be tight! Ayutthaya is suitable for a 2-day visit, in my opinion, one day is a bit rushed! There are also elephants and lots of delicious food, much cheaper than in downtown Bangkok!

The Splendid Centennial of Ayutthaya, Thailand|Come here to understand the history of Thailand
Six years later, I returned to Ayutthaya, Thailand, one of my favorite destinations. This place was once the capital of the Ayutthaya Dynasty in Thailand, which flourished for hundreds of years from 1350 to 1767.
It takes about an hour to drive from Bangkok to Ayutthaya. Because it's Christmas, there are some markets along the way, so there's a bit of traffic.
The central area of Ayutthaya is where the ancient palace of the Ayutthaya Dynasty is located. In the ruins of the ancient palace, only three pagodas built in the 15th century remain, which are well preserved. Their carvings, lines, shapes, and architectural skills are all characteristic of the ancient art of Ayutthaya.
There are two places in Ayutthaya that you must visit. One is Wat Chaiwatthanaram, which is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, outside Ayutthaya Island. It is one of the most magnificent and beautiful temples in Ayutthaya and a tourist attraction.
In 1630, King Prasat Thong of the Ayutthaya Kingdom ordered the construction of the temple in memory of his mother who lived in the area. The design style is Khmer, which was the popular architectural style at the time.
In the center of the pagoda group is a large Khmer-style pagoda, surrounded by four small pagodas, and eight smaller pagodas and gates on the outer ring. Around the 13 high pagodas are 120 seated Buddhas, and 12 large Buddhas are seated in the eight small pagodas.
The second is Wat Mahathat. It is located in the center of Ayutthaya, the oldest capital of Thailand, and is the central temple of the city. There are moats on all sides. It was built from the time of King Intharacha and completed in 1345 during the reign of King Lithai. It is a royal temple. There were originally 209 pagodas and 10 monasteries in the temple, but most of them are only left with the foundation.
Inside the temple, there is a central pagoda platform, surrounded by small pagodas with Buddha niches on all sides and temple-style pagodas. The central pagoda is made of red soil and then plastered with gray mud. The lotus bud-shaped top of the pagoda is called Sukhothai style, which is different from the pagodas in other countries.
There is also the Victory Great Pagoda built in the 13th century, built during the reign of King Uthong, the founder of the Ayutthaya Dynasty. The entire temple building is magnificent and exquisite. It is the oldest existing building in Ayutthaya. The temple is now known for its reclining Buddha and pagoda. There are dozens of seated Buddha statues around the pagoda.
In addition, there is a temple ruin on the bank of the Menam River, with only more than ten pagodas left. Taking a boat tour along the Menam River, the spires on both sides of the river are solemn and magnificent, which is amazing.
The mobile wifi for this trip to Thailand has received strong support from Roaming Man, allowing me to share travel stories with you anytime, anywhere.

The capital of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya
Ayutthaya, located just north of present-day Bangkok, was once the capital of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, one of the most powerful and prosperous kingdoms in Southeast Asia. Founded in 1350, Ayutthaya served as the Thai capital for over four centuries until it was sacked by the Burmese in 1767. Today, the remnants of this ancient city, known as Ayutthaya Historical Park, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a testament to Thailand's rich history.
The historical park is a treasure trove of archaeological wonders, featuring well-preserved ruins, ancient temples, and statues that reflect the grandeur of Ayutthaya's past. Some key attractions within the park include:
1. **Wat Mahathat:** This temple is famous for the Buddha head entwined in the roots of a banyan tree, an iconic image that has become synonymous with Ayutthaya.
2. **Wat Phra Si Sanphet:** Once the grandest temple in Ayutthaya, this site housed a large golden Buddha image and served as the royal chapel.
3. **Wat Ratchaburana:** Known for its well-preserved prang (Khmer-style tower), this temple has impressive murals depicting scenes from the Buddha's life.
4. **Wat Chaiwatthanaram:** A stunning riverside temple with a central prang surrounded by smaller prangs, it offers picturesque views and is a popular spot for visitors.
5. **Ayutthaya Historical Study Centre:** For those seeking a deeper understanding of Ayutthaya's history, this center provides valuable insights through exhibits, artifacts, and multimedia presentations.
Exploring Ayutthaya is like stepping back in time, as the ruins speak volumes about the kingdom's cultural, religious, and architectural achievements. The city's strategic location along the river facilitated trade and cultural exchange, contributing to its prosperity.
While some structures have weathered the centuries admirably, others bear the scars of the Burmese invasion. The contrast between the intact and damaged structures adds a poignant dimension to the historical park, emphasizing the resilience of Ayutthaya's cultural legacy.
Visitors to Ayutthaya can choose to explore the historical park by walking, cycling, or even taking a boat tour along the river to appreciate the city's unique layout and architecture. The serene atmosphere, coupled with the historical significance, makes Ayutthaya a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and those interested in experiencing the rich cultural heritage of Thailand.
I recently went to Thailand Ayutthaya and it was just amazing. I hired a driver and he took me around. There are so many beautiful ancient temples there with astonishing history. One that amaze me was the temple with Chu Chok.

The Summer Coffee Factory
The Summer Coffee has a new branch! The store is beautiful but not too big, with indoor and outdoor zones in Earth Tone colors. The yellow tone matches the quote "Stay Sunny" in front of the store. After falling in love with the delicious coffee and pastries at the first branch in the city, I stopped by to try the new branch. The taste is just as good as before. I recommend trying their Signature menu, which they have already mixed for you, to experience new coffee flavors. If you've been to Spring, another store under the same brand, the pastries here taste just as good. If you're an FC, you must check in here.
Let's try the food and drinks:
🥤 Espresso Fizz is delicious, with good coffee and tasty fresh orange juice. It matches the name of the store, Summer, perfectly.
🥤 We switched to oat milk for the Iced Latte, adding 30 baht. The coffee is lightly roasted and very smooth.
🫔 Sai Oua Roll is amazing! The sausage is spicy and flavorful, and the thin crispy crust is perfect. You must order it.
🥓 Bacon Twist is crispy and crunchy, with a large piece of bacon. It doesn't have the same texture as pure bacon because it's mixed into the bread, but it's still delicious. It goes well with coffee.

Today, I was invited by the girl from the milk tea shop to take a photo together, haha.

Must-stay online celebrity hotels around Bangkok❗️Recommended B&B in Ayutthaya
Thailand is probably a place I visit every year. The cheap prices, beautiful scenery, and friendly Thai people all attract me to constantly explore this city.
The previous note was about the travel guide and photography tips for #Dacheng. In this article, I recommend my favorite #Ayutthaya homestay, #sala hotel. The overall environment is great, and you can escape the crowded Thai tourists and enjoy a vacation here.
The decoration style of the entire hotel is mainly white INS style, simple and clean but with its own style. You can lie in the room and watch the Mekong River flow slowly, or sit by the Mekong River and enjoy breakfast. The swimming pool in the hotel is also very picturesque.
Enjoy a Thai slow vacation influenced by history here.

📍Mysterious journey in the Kingdom of Siam, Tai Cheng Prefecture, Thailand.
📖Favorite author, departing from Bangkok on the "Anantara Song" ship, I chose to take the train, and our destination is here.
📍Dacheng County, Thailand
From 1350 to 1767, Ayutthaya served as the capital of the Kingdom of Siam for 417 years. In the hearts of the Thai people, the Ayutthaya Dynasty holds a position similar to that of the Tang Dynasty in the hearts of the Chinese people.
The city started as a trading port by the sea and is the economic center of Southeast Asia. The king of Nalai in the city likes imported goods such as telescopes, cheese, wine, and marble fountains ⛲.
It can be seen from this that the prosperity of the great city in those years had already reached the level of a global metropolis.
(Reference book "Along the Direction of Monsoon" - Liu Zichao)
Just like understanding the Angkor dynasty by backpacking to Cambodia 🇰🇭, understanding the history of Thailand and visiting the nearby city of Nakhon Pathom is an essential stop. Leaving Nakhon Pathom, Thailand is no longer the same as it used to be in my heart. It has gained a weight, a kind of gentleness and style of an old man who says "the story needs to be told slowly to you".

Lost in the historical relics 🛕 This is a stopover on the way from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. For me, this place may just be a circle of abandoned stones. The most I ate here was the noodles downstairs in the homestay, which were super delicious. They are very popular among locals and the business is very hot. If you go late, you have to wait. There are very few people here, and it feels like walking a few steps is a ruin. But this place is good for filming, and you can capture a different feeling. There is also a floating market here, which is somewhat commercialized and mostly visited by tourists. I still prefer down-to-earth places. Anyway, the feeling is still good. It's a different Thai experience.

Ancient Ayutthaya
Do you know Ayutthaya is a unesco heritage site? I have got the chance to visit this ancient but majestic place and in Thai, people calls it 'Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya'. Before Bangkok, Ayutthaya used to be the main capital of Thailand and was one of the biggest cities.
To enter Ayutthaya, there is an entrance fee of 500 baht for visitors. Also, there are certain outfit rules, especially for ladies. Ladies cannot expose their shoulders or legs so please respect people's cultures and avoid wearing sleeveless clothes or shorts or skirts that are way too short. Otherwise, once inside Ayuttaya, marvel at all the amazing temple ruins that are being restored and explore the historical site that looks similar to the Angkor wat.
Everyone would also visit the iconic Buddha head stuck in tree roots in Ayutthaya and I am happy I had the chance to see that as well. Go visit Ayutthaya today and enjoy it's history!
