The guesthouse is placed in the middle of Suzhou ancient city, in a picturesque and silent street. The house is very beautiful, the furniture are elegant, there is also a smart toilet and disposable items. Unfortunately there were not bath towels but paper ones. There was no front desk at all, even if specified in the property description. We arrived at 13 (frontdesk time 8-19) but nobody was there and we didn't receive anything on the trip.com chat. When we called the property, they answered us only in Chinese and then sent us a weChat Qr code. They wrote us only in Chinese even if we were texting them in English. Fortunately weChat has a translation service, otherwise it would have been impossible for us to understand what to do. They gave then information about how to reach the property (even if we were already there) and gave us an access code that we were not able to use, since we didn't know the most important thing: the room number. Furthermore the access code changed anytime we go out (they said it's a problem related to non-chinese people) and was quite annoying to write them all the time on we chat. The room is very good though!

The hotel is located within the Lingnan Guild Hall in the scenic area, right by Shantang Street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and sightseeing. However, the scenic area has traffic restrictions, and the streets are mainly cobblestone. There are also stairs within the Lingnan Guild Hall, which can be inconvenient if you're carrying luggage or pushing a stroller. The hotel's front desk service is excellent and very welcoming. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, and they even offer laundry service, which is a big plus! The hotel has a garden-style design, with a beautiful koi pond that's great for photos and where you can feed the fish. Although it's in a scenic area, the hotel rooms are quite quiet, and there were various complimentary services that unfortunately I didn't get to use. I'll definitely come back again! Highly recommended!

Our stay at Kimpton Bamboo Suzhou far exceeded expectations. We booked three Cool King Rooms with Courtyard access. The rooms were spacious and bright, featuring elegant and private courtyard designs with lush greenery visible right outside the window. Every detail reflected high quality—the bedding was comfortable, the bathrooms had a wet-and-dry separation layout, and amenities included a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. The minibar was well-stocked, and the overall ambiance perfectly blended the delicate charm of traditional Suzhou gardens with modern convenience. The service was equally heartwarming. The butler team was incredibly responsive throughout our stay, acting on every request instantly, whether it was borrowing extra items or asking for local recommendations. When we needed a few more bottles of water at night, a quick phone call had them delivered to the room within minutes. The next day, due to a change in our schedule, we needed a late check-out. Our butler, Vickey, didn't hesitate for a second and happily arranged it for us without any hassle, allowing us to pack at our own pace and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Public areas of the hotel are also very photogenic; the courtyard walkways and the bar atmosphere are well worth taking your time to explore. All in all, with its solid hardware and thoughtful service, this is a hotel we would gladly return to again and again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Suzhou who wants a comfortable and welcoming stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time.

I always choose to stay here whenever I'm in Wuxi, and it's consistently a fantastic experience. The front desk service is excellent and attentive, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the facilities are well-equipped. This is my absolute go-to for accommodation in Wuxi! Highly recommend!

Touched, like it very much. will come again next time. The hotel is very neat and clean, and the turndown service is particularly good. There are welcome fruits and some snacks. The real world has added this young lady (Miss Shi Limin at the front desk), she is really considerate! I woke up in the morning after checking out today and wanted to take a bath🛀 but there was no hot water! I called the front desk three times but no specific notice was given about the availability of hot water. Then I bothered Ms. Shi Limin again. She said she hadn't gone to work yet, so she would make a call first to help with the matter, and then she would send me a message within ten minutes. He said that because the hotel was full yesterday and there was no hot water supply, he could apply for a later check-out and I could take a hot shower. Okay, I was moved again. The receptionist called me later. It was Miss Shi Limin who came to work and called me to apologize. They also applied for a hand-warmer cup for us because of the hot water. I used to work in a hotel, and I feel that Ms. Shi Limin's service is really good. Within her limited ability, she makes customers feel at home, which is commendable. She is very responsible and patient. Encourage me, your efforts and persistence will become your own shining point 👍 Very considerate to solve the problem for us.

Our stay at Mulan Huayue Inn was absolutely perfect! The inn is located on Zhongshi Street in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, very close to Shen Hall, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The courtyard is elegant and full of Jiangnan charm, making it a great spot for photos. There are two adorable and friendly cats, Huanhuan and Yingying, wandering around the courtyard – petting them was so therapeutic. The owner was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and responsible. Before our arrival, she sent detailed tips and offered reliable advice for exploring the ancient town and finding good food. She was also very responsive to any requests we had. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. Staying right inside the scenic area meant we could enjoy the quiet water town mornings and evenings without the crowds. Zhouzhuang is beautiful, and this inn is definitely the top choice when visiting. We'll be back!

Staying in this location was an absolute joy. To spend a night in an historic ancient time is a great experience, and staying in this hotel is a treat. The price is extremely reasonable. If I could give more points for the staff they deserve them. I arrived very early, and they not only allowed to drop off my bags, they changed the cleaning schedule to support my early arrival giving me an ultra-early check in. The room was just what I had ordered, and when it came time to check out, they gave me a fried dough snack to speed me on my way as they guided me to the “hidden” location to catch the bus to Suzhou. I don’t usually gush about a location or the staff, but these folks are special. If you want to experience an historic ancient town, listen to the experts that claim ZhouZhuang is the #1 choice.

I booked a king-size room; it was very spacious but had minimal, simple decor. The duvet felt smooth and comfortable, unlike those in other hotels that make you sweat or feel rough from repeated washing. The bed was firm and springy, which my child loved bouncing on. The canteen offered a limited variety of dishes, and the breakfast was pretty much the same both days. There's no delivery robot, so you have to go up and down yourself. The hotel is on a high floor, so waiting for the elevator can take a while. A big plus is the free parking, although spots on P2 can be tight. The location is central, making travel times to various attractions similar, but driving takes at least 20 minutes. There's a MixC mall right next to the hotel, which is convenient for dining.

The location is great, just a quick 5-minute walk from the MRT, which made exploring the entire city effortless. The apartment itself was exactly as described: spotlessly clean, surprisingly spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The highlight for us was the big projector screen; winding down each night with Chinese dramas was a unique and fun experience. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also a huge convenience, allowing us to pack light. The true standout was our host. She was exceptionally helpful, providing a personal recommendations. This guesthouse is really great! It has its own unique charm, the surroundings are beautiful, and it's super clean and tidy. A shuttle picked us up right at the parking lot, and it's only about a hundred meters from the scenic area entrance, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant, and the dishes are exquisitely prepared and taste amazing. Highly, highly recommend! 👍👍👍
