This is a must-stay hotel when you visit Christchurch! The environment is lovely, and the food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The service is very attentive. I've stayed here many times already, and the cleanliness is always top-notch. Plus, it's really close to several attractions.
Suitable for taking children. Our room sleeps 5 people, 3 single beds and 1 double bed. There is a kitchen in the room, the pots and pans are all complete, and there is a refrigerator for your own simple dishes. The hotel is very close to the city centre. Remember to bring toiletries, shower gel, shampoo.
This is a very luxurious and expansive hotel with many rooms. Staff helped us with our luggage to our room, which was quite a long walk. The room itself was huge, featuring a living room, a dining table, and a small door leading to an outdoor area. The surroundings were lovely with plenty of greenery. Breakfast was standard, but the female server in the restaurant had a very poor attitude, acting flippant and chatting with colleagues throughout her shift. Other staff members, however, were very friendly, and there's a free shuttle service to the airport.
This hotel must be the tallest building in Kaikoura. If you're here for lobster, this is a great place to stay! The facilities are all new and the rooms are relatively clean. However, the front desk staff all seem to be Indian with very strong accents. We borrowed some cutlery from the hotel, and the guy from the front desk who delivered it was banging on our door, which startled us. His attitude when he delivered it was also quite bad. I can't believe we had to put up with the front desk's bad mood.
This hotel location is superb right opposite The village city central. Everything is good EXCEPT no air con which is really hot in summer month …all 4 of us didn’t sleep well as is too hot- they only provide a standing Fan. I think winter month stay is ok.
This is a large campsite facing the beach. There's a small kitchenette for cooking simple meals, and a communal kitchen. We went back to the hotel quite late and went straight to sleep. The foreigners were very quiet and didn't make a fuss; no one was smoking, which was great.
We booked a one-bedroom villa, but to our surprise, it actually had three bedrooms! The space was incredibly large and a delightful surprise.
The ground floor features a garage, and the living room has a cozy fireplace with spacious, comfortable sofas. The dining area is huge, and the kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, cookware, a microwave, and an oven, perfectly meeting our daily needs and allowing for easy meal preparation. It was a truly comfortable stay.
Our entire trip to Tekapo was perfect, and this villa truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!
I stayed here on the last night of my return home. The house on the upper and lower floors, we had a lot of fun, and forgot to book the hotel, we couldn’t book a suitable place one day in advance. This house is expensive and the two people live a little extravagant, but away from Avon. Very close to Hagley Park for easy shopping.
Check in was super easy. Very handy to where we needed to be. The room was toasty warm. Super comfy bed. Breakfast was incredible. Definitely want to stay again.
The room is generally good, the facilities are a bit old, the chair is sunken, the bathroom door cannot be closed, the screw of the door handle is loose for a large part, and it feels like the door handle will fall off when you pull it hard.
Very Good

AAnonymous UserWe met other great locals and tourists in the common kitchen!
A well equipped Kitchen with hit water, microwave, large oven, bread toaster etc. This really helped us to be productive for our short stay in Christchurch.
Thanks

AAnonymous UserCheck-in is after 2 PM, and check-out is at 10 AM. You can store your luggage at the front desk. A deposit is required upon check-in, payable by credit card or cash. The reception and hotel are in adjoining buildings. My room was on the second floor, and there's no elevator, so I had to carry my luggage up myself. The room was clean and spacious, but the soundproofing wasn't great. You can cast your phone to the TV via Wi-Fi. When I checked out, there was a front desk staff member who could speak Chinese.

GGuest UserAll were good, the location is very near to the city center. Although the parking was a bit narrow, we were able to park in front of our unit safely.
The kitchenette was rather small and dont have a complete utensils like chopping board, but we managed with whatever provided. There was no hood as well so when we were cooking, the smoke alarm went on for a while, we had to open our front door while cooking because the ventilation was not the best. But overall it was fine.
かかなやI had a great stay there. I arrived very early but I could leave my backpack in the reception and also use the facility such as kitchen. The staff was very helpful. Some rooms have very nice view. It was best place to chill. Also you can rent a bike around $5/1h or $15/4h. I enjoyed the ride to the Mt Fyfee carpark and did a little hiking:)
