A go to hotel when I'm in Boston. Newton is a suburb but you can be in Boston very quickly but no subway stations nearby. It's right over the Massachusetts turnpike (but I've never felt bothered by highway traffic noise) it's not in town but couldn't be closer to the highway that gets you into the city or directly to the airport. It's got a great bar connected called Social that has really good food and live music sometimes on weekends and another small, neighborhood style bar right across the street (Buff's Pub) that has solid pub food and some of the best wings in the Boston area. They will for sure have whichever Boston sports game on. Bar closes early though, maybe 11pm. A great pizza place and a few other restaurants and a liquor store in walking distance (and a Dunkin' Donuts). Service is always good, the pool is quite small but it exists and is old but clean. No gym. Breakfast is solid. Parking Garage too.
Breakfast was good, but not able to take back to your room. Additional deposit needed upon arrival not refunded until 14 days later. Would've stayed elsewhere if had known

Facilities: Great, there's a microwave, so breakfast is easy to sort out myself. Location: Very close to Harvard University, and only about 10 minutes to the airport. The living room and bedroom are separate, the space is huge, and it's excellent value for money.
Website clearly states ”No Pets” , upon checkin we see several people walking their dogs on the grounds. So much for that policy.
I have allergies to dogs and can only hope that a dog was not previously in the unit we rented.
Overall clean, but the black mold around the shower head and around the top of the shower in unit 848 was a bit concerning.
Was quite surprised when getting hit with a $27.92 charge for ”Resort Fees” otherwise known as ”Junk Fees” upon check-out.
Was not informed of any additional fees upon check-in.
Office manager was unmoving on this.
This has been reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General.
Convenient hotel, efficient check-in, had an excellent and quiet sleep between 2 flights. Even possible to walk from the international terminal E (all covered walkways). Took the free hotel shuttle in the morning.
Room decor was a bit tired, but spacious. Would have liked a coffee pot, but not a big deal. We only spent one night. Overall the property was beautiful. We stayed in the motor lodge. There are several locations on property to stay.
Great hotel with great value for your money. The location is very close to the highway in route to Boston. The rooms are nice and clean and the amenities are great. All in all a great stay for a families of five.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserIn Southborough, very close to the company, nice and quiet environment
The front desk service was very good. I arrived quite late at night and was given freshly baked cookies, which was very considerate
The room was quite large, the two large beds were very comfortable, the bathroom facilities were also good, and the cloakroom was very convenient
You can watch Netflix and other movies on the TV for a fee, and there is also cable TV
The only drawback is that the coffee machine is very dirty, with dust inside and outside, and needs to be washed before use. The disposable cups and cup lids provided are also covered with dust
I don’t know if this room has not been occupied for a long time
Please check the hygiene of the room before checking in
GGuest UserExcellent hotel. Recently renovated and has a very modern feel to the lobby. Also connected to Prudential center and tons of food options within 1-2 min walking distance as a result. Room is very clean and comfortable
Yyuan~erThe location is average and the health is OK. We are working there so choose. If it is a trip, it is more troublesome, because it costs 30 dollars to take a taxi to the city and 30 dollars to Harvard University. There are no slippers and toiletries in the room, and there are no hotels in the United States. It is very strange. Breakfast is mainly cold meals. It is good to use it as a fast hotel. Don't think about it compared with the domestic Hilton.
GGuest UserHotel staffs are professional. Receptionist presented a warm welcome while receiving us. They responded our enquiry swiftly.
Housekeeper are very attentive, too. Facility in room was kept in good condition. Air conditioning in room was good and running quietly.
All in all, we are satisfied with the room standard and service provided by staff.
GGuest UserAlthough the location is a bit out of the way when visiting Boston, I would still consider staying there again. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, with a light-weighted and thin comforter that kept me warm throughout the night, making for a very quiet and restful sleep.
The property was very clean, and the shower water ran hot immediately without any waiting.
The afternoon and night shift employee on Sunday was extremely helpful. She patiently answered my questions and assisted me with printing my boarding pass—truly 5-star service. In contrast, the Monday morning and afternoon front desk employee had a noticeably different attitude. When I stopped at the front desk, she did not make eye contact and made me feel unwelcome. Later that day, I got lost near Alewife Station while trying to walk back to the hotel, so I called the front desk for assistance. She repeatedly told me to take the bridge, which appeared to be a highway bridge intended for cars rather than pedestrians. She insisted on this direction and then hung up. In reality, I should have turned left toward the park well before reaching the bridge.
I would rate the Sunday night staff member 5+ stars and the Monday morning employee 2 stars. Overall, averaging the experience, I would give the service a 4-star rating.
GGuest UserThe overall environment of the hotel is very good, the location is good, there is a subway and supermarkets are convenient for shopping, the disadvantage is that it is a little expensive, and it would be better if slippers could be provided
GGuest UserLocation of the hotel is really close to the airport. It is a nice hotel, the price a bit too high for the quality of the rooms. There were a few things that could be better, hair on places you don't want them, dirty spots. Parkinglot that was full and the price was 20 dollars a night
GGuest UserOverall, I was satisfied with my stay at Sunbird Resort and Hotel. I’m not too familiar with their other location which is adjacent to the main hotel called Sunbird Annex. The continental breakfast was nice, clean, and things were replenished for the most part. Fruits, different juices, pastries, eggs, sausages, and coffee. Although the scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausages seem to all come from a bag that was microwaved, but what more can you ask for? It was tasty, clean, and enough to feed everyone.
I read from other reviews that a s’mores kit was available for kids but was told they only provide the lighter and propane. Not a big issue, but definitely a plus if it was available as advertised. Shuttle buses and night time movies were nowhere to be seen, but I did not ask about those so I can not really speak to that.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The staff was responsive. The room was cleaned daily and no issues with cleanliness. The room was definitely not a Hilton, bathroom could use an update. Again, for the most part it met my needs and my little kid had a blast.
