Romantic Hotels in Guangdong, China

The room was exactly as it was in the images. It was cleaned everyday and very well. There is no weird smell and the hotel staff was available for support even at 2am in the night. Few things to know: 1) the building is accessible through a staircase only so one needs to carry their big bags over around 3 flight of stairs (2 floors). 2) the image of building exterior is not of glass facade as in the cover image but it’s a new property so feels premium. 3) kitchen is functioning but no kitchenware is provided so bring your own pans, plates, spoons and even dish washing liquid. Having said all this, we were extremely happy with our stay and will be booking this again when we visit Guangzhou.

Read the rave about this hotel and having stayed here ourselves, we totally understand why. Firstly, the location is superb with the Beijing Pedestrian street and TeeMall literally just at its door step. Next, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We have booked 2 rooms and they have proactively allocated us on the same floor. The rooms were clean and the room size is comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel provided free laundry (self-service) which is a plus for us as we were in Guangzhou for 10days. Breakfast is just so-so, can give it a miss and enjoy nicer food nearby. Overall, highly recommended and we will certainly choose the hotel again when we are back.

This is my second time visiting Chimelong Zhuhai, and since my main purpose this trip was to see the killer whales at the Spaceship Park, I booked a stay at the Spaceship Hotel. Overall, it's not the most impressive hotel in the Chimelong series, but it still maintains the standard quality you'd expect from Chimelong. Room Facilities: The front desk upgraded us to a Moon Exploration King Room. The room size was moderate, perhaps a bit smaller than the room we stayed in at Chimelong Qingyuan, but overall, it was comfortable. The facilities looked well-maintained and new, with vibrant colors that are kid-friendly. Value for Money: The package deal (scenic spot + hotel) was slightly more expensive than at Chimelong Qingyuan, but the price felt acceptable, especially considering the excellent tourist facilities and service quality at Chimelong. Breakfast: My expectations were high, but I was a little disappointed. Perhaps the breakfast variety at the Chimelong Qingyuan hotel was just too extensive, as the selection here at the Spaceship Hotel felt somewhat limited. However, the quality of the breakfast was still very good. Wi-Fi: Fast and stable signal. Bed: Neither too soft nor too hard, very comfortable. Restaurant: We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the top floor, and it was a great experience, much better than at Chimelong Qingyuan, and the service quality was also superior. Cleanliness: Exceeded expectations; it was extremely clean and tidy. Parking: You can park directly in the underground parking lot. During the off-peak season, there were plenty of available spaces. Room View: From the room, you can directly see the roof of the Spaceship Park, offering an expansive view. Location and Transportation: This is something Chimelong excels at; each park is tightly integrated with its respective hotel. You can access the park directly from the hotel by just going downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. Service: Overall good, though the front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming; they seemed a bit stone-faced. Swimming Pool: There's an infinity pool on the top floor which looked nice, though it's a bit small. Guests can use it for free. Gym: Well-equipped and very functional, but it seems to close at 9:30 PM.

Booked last minute and stumbled upon a gem! The entire place was spotless and bright, and there was no stuffiness when opening the windows. Room facilities were all in great working order, and there were plenty of amenities like a hairdryer and hangers. All the staff were kind and patient; they meticulously explained directions whenever I asked. The hotel environment was well-organized and easy to find, with convenient transportation. The value for money far exceeded other hotels in the same price range.

I booked this hotel last minute, and it completely exceeded all my expectations! It's about a kilometer from Dongmen Old Street and Luohu MixC, a mere ten-minute walk to both major shopping districts, offering endless options for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The cleanliness was exceptionally meticulous; the room was spotless, with no dust or neglected corners, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation with no water stains and fresh, circulating air. The service was warm and thoughtful; the front desk proactively offered complimentary bottled water, and any items requested for the room were delivered immediately. The staff were polite and gentle. The room facilities were new and plentiful, featuring smart home control for everything, a giant screen for movies, a high-pressure shower, and a self-service laundry room with drying capabilities. The mattress was soft and supportive for the back, and the soundproofing was excellent, completely isolating us from the noise of the commercial area. I highly recommend it for travel accommodation. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight, approximately one kilometer from Dongmen Old Street and Luohu MixC. It offers full coverage of shopping districts, making it a one-stop shop for all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs, and its proximity to Grand Theater Metro Station makes getting around very convenient. The environment and hygiene were reassuring; cleaning left no neglected corners, the toilet and washbasin were sparkling clean, and the carpet had no dust or odors. The service was attentive and thoughtful; the front desk was staffed 24 hours, online calls for room service were answered promptly, and small issues were addressed by staff immediately upon arrival. The room facilities were brand new, with smart voice control for lights and curtains, a spacious shower with stable water pressure, and ample storage space with tables and chairs. The public areas were clean and tidy, the lounge area was quiet, and the soundproofing was outstanding, ensuring a peaceful night's rest free from external disturbances. Overall, the value for money is exceptional.

We had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Zhuhai. The hotel environment is beautiful and relaxing. Although it rained during most of our stay, we still had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. One of the highlights was the infinity pool. Swimming there was incredibly comfortable and the view was amazing, creating a truly enjoyable experience. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. We would especially like to thank Miya at the front desk. She was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. Her warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit such a pleasant one. We would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

The room was very clean, and they provided plenty of snacks, tea bags, coffee sachets, and bottled water daily. The only downside was that the bedside outlet wasn't working properly. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the temperature was consistently good, no sudden changes. Wendy and KouKou at the front desk were super nice, and all the staff were excellent.

Good service overall, plus an upgrade! The subway downstairs was super convenient. They even offered complimentary bottled water during check-out, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was meticulously cleaned – no bugs or strange smells, and the soundproofing was excellent. It's perfect whether you're traveling or just staying for a short while. I've already saved it and will recommend it to friends and family.

Stepping into the room, you immediately notice the excellent facilities. The shower pressure is just right, and outlets are conveniently placed throughout, perfect for watching shows or working without interruption. The cleanliness is impeccable; every nook and cranny is spotless, making for a truly comfortable and reassuring stay. The location is incredibly convenient for getting around, with plenty of shops nearby. The staff are friendly and quick to resolve any issues. Plus, there are many attractions nearby, making it ideal for tourism.

Better than I expected but I got upgraded though to a higher floor! It's in a commercial/residential building and it's very new. Has all the amenities you need; daily 2 bottle water, toothbrush, body wash, shampoo - no conditioner though, huge fridge and even a washer and detergent with area to hang your clothes to dry. I had the river view which was amazing day and night! It's about 2km walk to the Gongbei border but Zhuhai is cheap and convenient with Didi, plus many taxis and restaurants downstairs with Starbucks, McDonald's, KFC if you need your western fix. Cleaning is done daily if needed, they will send you a wechat message to ask. All the staff are amazing, so friendly and will help you if you need anything. Highly recommend and will be back!
