The room facilities are a bit old. The hygiene isn't bad, but there's a strange smell in the room. The water park only opens at noon, so for those staying for just one day, buying a hotel package that includes the water park is basically useless. You can enter an hour early, but so many people stay at the hotel it's like when Ocean Kingdom opens an hour early – it doesn't really help. The service was very mediocre. I dropped my phone in the room and had already checked out and returned the room key because I had to catch my high-speed train. I asked the lobby manager for help, and they told me to get back in the incredibly long queue for check-out and tax refunds just to get another room key. Luckily, there were many cleaning staff, and I asked them for help. After verifying my identity upstairs and downstairs, they let me back into the room to find my phone. And they wouldn't even let me keep the room key as a souvenir!

Upon learning it was my birthday, they proactively upgraded my room for free and even surprised me with a delicate birthday cake. It was full of pleasant surprises. The service throughout was impeccable, with attention to every detail, making it a truly unforgettable birthday. The room was comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was fantastic. I highly recommend it and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Zhuhai. Many thanks to all the staff for their thoughtful hospitality!

I chose this castle-themed hotel for my trip, and the entire experience far exceeded my expectations. It's perfectly suited for self-driving tours, leisure vacations, or even short business stays. The hotel's most striking feature is its European castle exterior, with pointed spires, domes, and delicate carvings. From a distance, it creates an incredible ambiance, making every photo Instagram-worthy. When the lights come on in the evening, it truly looks like a fairytale castle. Even my friends couldn't help but stop to take pictures – the building's aesthetic alone significantly boosted our overall impression. During check-in, the staff member who assisted me, Jianbing, left a particularly deep impression. His service was enthusiastic and patient, meticulous and thoughtful throughout. He proactively introduced me to the hotel's various special facilities, from photo spots around the castle architecture to the operating hours of the buffet breakfast, pool, and executive lounge, as well as the parking location and sightseeing routes – he explained everything clearly. He patiently answered all my questions, and his detailed and attentive service made me feel incredibly welcome the moment I walked in. For those traveling by car, I must commend the hotel's parking lot. It's spacious with plenty of parking spaces, so there's no need to worry about not finding a spot if you arrive late. The lanes are wide, making it easy to park both large and small vehicles. Parking was completely hassle-free, with no need to drive around looking for an empty spot, which is especially friendly for guests driving their own cars. The buffet breakfast was a major surprise during this stay, with such a dizzying variety of options. The ingredients were fresh, and food was replenished promptly. The flavors catered to all ages, ensuring a satisfying and abundant breakfast every day, setting us up for an energetic start. The hotel also features an executive lounge, which offers a quiet and elegant environment with expansive views. It provides snacks, drinks, and afternoon tea, eliminating the need to go out for extra meals. The lounge's comfortable setting is perfect for a relaxing break or simple work, making the executive benefits incredibly cost-effective. The hotel's swimming pool offered an excellent experience. The water was clean and clear, and the pool area was well-lit. The decor was consistent with the overall castle style, making it suitable for adults to swim and relax, or for children to play. The facilities were well-maintained and spotless. The guest rooms were clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and excellent soundproofing. The entire hotel combines aesthetics, dining, leisure amenities, and convenient parking, further enhanced by Jianbing's warm and meticulous service. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic, making it suitable for both short getaways and longer stays. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time.

First of all, a big thank you to Calice & Tracy for their meticulous arrangements before our stay. I was celebrating my mother's birthday, and the butler, upon learning this, prepared a lovely surprise birthday setup for us. Here are the main aspects of the hotel that I was very satisfied with: 1. Direct subway access: This is excellent for those who don't drive or want to avoid traffic jams and taxis. 2. Well-divided swimming pool: It has both 1.2m and 1.5m sections, keeping children and adults separate. Plus, the pool offers a fantastic view of the sea. 3. Beach access right downstairs: You can put on your swimsuit, take the elevator down, and go straight to play in the water. Then, take the elevator back up to your room to shower and change. 4. Sea view room: The sea view from the room was absolutely stunning! 5. Delicious buffet: Both dinner and breakfast buffets were unique and excellent. My mother was very pleased. One minor dissatisfaction: It seems the only way from the hotel entrance to the lobby is via the car lane. I walked around for a while and realized there's no pedestrian walkway. You have to walk in the car lane. Fortunately, traffic generally moves very slowly, so it wasn't too dangerous. Do they assume guests never walk in? 😅 Overall, I think a sunny weekday during the off-season is perfect for a two-day stay here!

The king-size room for two was perfectly fine. All the room amenities were set up for two adults and two children, which added a nice playful touch. The instructions for park transportation and other facilities were clear. We also received complimentary water park tickets for the duration of our stay, which is good to prepare for in advance if you plan to use them. Here are some potential downsides to be aware of: 1. Food delivery services generally cannot enter the park. You'll either need to use a delivery runner or walk two kilometers to the South Gate to pick it up yourself. Alternatively, you can dine at the park's restaurants, take a taxi, or use the shuttle bus to the North Gate/subway station and walk to find food. 2. Building 6, where I stayed, was incredibly humid. The book I brought with me actually warped and bent overnight. Be prepared for that.

We stayed at the Penguin Hotel with our two-and-a-half-year-old and the experience exceeded our expectations. The butler service was attentive, proactively informing us of activity times. The hallway lighting was soft, so it wasn't harsh on the eyes when walking around at night. There were plenty of power outlets in the room, making charging very convenient. The hotel shop offered a wide variety of items, with many souvenir choices. The park shuttle directions were clear, so it was hard to get lost. Housekeeping regularly patrolled public areas, and trash was promptly cleared. Staff greeted guests proactively. Check-out was quick. The blackout curtains worked very well. Overall, it's perfect for family vacations, and we'll choose it again next time we visit Chimelong. The Penguin Hotel butler (No. 1) was very thoughtful and attentive. The staff were also happy to give balloons when asked, I was worried before that if they didn't give one, my baby would cry. Because the baby was too young for many of the rides, she was still very happy in the 'Snow House' room. Plus, we could watch penguins from the breakfast restaurant, which made the baby super happy. A great experience!

The environment is quiet and comfortable, the bedding is cozy, and the front desk staff are friendly. It's excellent value for money and highly recommended. The value is superb, the room is clean with no strange smells, and the staff are responsive. We had a great stay. The location is excellent, right below Zhengjia Plaza.

Let me start with the check-in experience: As I arrived quite late and it wasn't peak season, Xiao Man upgraded me to a panoramic sea view room. Since it was my first time staying at Dan Yue and I wasn't familiar with the location, Xiao Man very thoughtfully gave me directions and even provided her own curated information on dining, attractions, and transportation around Shuangyue Bay. Although I'm quite familiar with the area, so this information wasn't really necessary for me (laughs), I still appreciated her effort. I could tell her guide would be very useful for first-time visitors. From check-in to check-out, Xiao Man was incredibly responsive to my late-night inquiries. I'm very grateful for her dedicated service. Now, about the facilities: 1. The guest room's sleeping area and vanity area were separated by a natural partition, protecting the privacy of the sleeping area. Many hotels have partitions, but usually only Mandarin Oriental, Park Hyatt, and Four Seasons do them well. This was the first positive impression Dan Yue gave me about its guest rooms. 2. Looking at the vanity, the integrated design, from color coordination to layout, fully utilized the spacious 67 square meters. The large mirror made the room feel even more expansive and bright. 3. There's a guest room walk-in closet by the entrance (Image 3), which features a sufficiently large luggage bench for placing luggage and sitting to change shoes. Many hotels only provide a small, movable stool for this purpose, which is often inadequate. These small stools not only take up space in the sleeping area but also detract from the visual neatness and aesthetics, and once used for clutter, they lose their function for changing shoes. Therefore, the large luggage bench in Dan Yue's walk-in closet provides a significant positive impact on both visual and practical user experience. 4. The bathroom and toilet are separate. Dry and wet separation is common in most hotels nowadays, so there's not much to say, but the overall cleanliness and facility maintenance were well done. 5. As it faces the sea, humidity can be an issue, but the room is equipped with a dehumidifier. This kept the room relatively dry, and combined with the air conditioning, I could confidently open the balcony door without worrying about the room becoming damp and sticky. 6. The balcony is very spacious, with two chairs for relaxing. This room type also includes a bathtub, which is large enough to comfortably fit an average-sized adult, and with the sea view, privacy is not a concern. 7. The balcony offers an unobstructed view of the sea. You can enjoy a great sunrise viewing and photo-taking experience without having to go down to the beach. Because it faces directly east, it gets excellent natural light without being overly exposed to the sun. The sea view is stunning on clear days. 8. The hotel's entertainment facilities are abundant, and both in-room and public area facilities are well-maintained. However, the elevator's scent is a critical issue that affects the overall guest experience. It's excessively strong and has a counterproductive effect. I suggest it needs to be changed. Overall, Dan Yue is one of the excellent hotels in the Shuangyue Bay area. There's a McDonald's downstairs, so if you're worried about being overcharged or don't want to eat at the hotel, McDonald's is a convenient option. Across the road, there are 7-Eleven and Meiyijia convenience stores. The location is easy to find, and the convenience is excellent.

【Thoughtful Touches】Exclusive 24-hour butler service: First off, the front desk lady was incredibly polite and patient when we checked in that evening! The front desk also had roasted sweet potatoes and popcorn for the kids, and parking at the hotel is free. For breakfast, there's a lovely selection with a 'nine-compartment' tray, steamed buns, shaomai, fruit, noodles, and soy milk – it’s clear they put a lot of thought into it. The front desk lady even gave us an extra breakfast. I also left something behind, and they kindly reminded me to go back and get it. If I come back to Zhuhai, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

Our room was on the third floor, and the bubble pool on the balcony was super comfortable. We had originally booked a twin room, but wanted to switch to a king-size bed. The front desk lady was really helpful in getting that sorted for us. The Splash Park is great for younger kids, and the Forest Park is also a lot of fun. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the on-site pool is very relaxing. Highly recommend! Our sweet butler, Tiantian, was exceptionally good. She checked in with us promptly, brought our child a small toy and some fruit, and quickly resolved an issue with a power outlet. She addressed all our concerns in a timely manner. Thumbs up!
