I expected the special offer room to be run-down, but it far exceeded my expectations. While the facilities are a bit dated, the hygiene was exceptionally good. The sheets and duvet covers were clean and odorless. The hotel opens right onto the beach, making it perfect for morning and evening strolls along the boardwalk.

The location is fantastic, perfect for relaxing and taking a stroll. You can easily walk or bike to Qinhuang Alley without needing a car. Location has always been Shangri-La's strong suit, which is why even if the facilities are a bit dated, I still prioritize staying here when I travel. While the facilities are a little old, they are well-maintained. The cleanliness is acceptable. The environment is absolutely wonderful. I even caught a wedding during my two-day stay. Since I was just relaxing anyway, I spent the whole morning watching from the balcony – congratulations to the happy couple! Breakfast was mediocre, crowded and chaotic, and the food was just so-so. The service was okay.

I chose this hotel for the sea view and easy access to the beach. Overall, it felt like it had everything, but the quality of everything was just average – acceptable for a single night if you're not too picky. The cleanliness was quite poor; there were a lot of small bugs, though the staff did warn me about it before check-in. I specifically booked a room with a bathtub, but the hot water ran out very quickly, and it took a long time to get more, so I didn't even get to use it.

I booked a sunrise room, and unfortunately, it was cloudy both days. However, the sea view was still quite good; I could see it as soon as I pulled back the curtains, though the railing did obstruct the view a little. For the price, this place is probably very good value for money in this area. It's about a 10-minute bike ride to Xianluo Island. I'm not too picky about rooms, as long as the facilities and cleanliness are decent. I brought my own sheets and just used alcohol wipes for a quick clean upon check-in. For families with kids who want to play in the water and sand, it's convenient for washing and drying clothes, being close to a large balcony, clothes dry quickly and there's no dampness. You can walk down to the beach in about 3-5 minutes. According to the tide chart, you can even dig for shellfish in the sea right below the building; we went and dug up some small shrimp in the morning. Later, when we stayed downstream at Jinmenghaiwan, there was nothing to find. Also, during our stay, it wasn't peak season yet, so there weren't many people staying in the apartment building. If you like a lively atmosphere or are afraid of the dark, this complex is indeed a bit out of the way. It has its pros and cons. Compared to the Shangri-La, this hotel offers much better value for money. Although it's a 'second-tier' sea view room, I requested a higher floor from the staff, and my family was quite happy with it. The room is also pretty spacious and well-equipped. It's a great choice for family travel!

The biggest plus is its proximity to the sea. The room facilities are actually pretty decent. However, I have to complain about the breakfast; whether it's good or bad isn't the point, but at least the steamed buns should be served hot. The TV could also be larger; it's hard to see from a distance, and how much do electronics cost these days anyway? The hotel management should have a broader perspective. As the saying goes, 'lose a little to gain a lot.' The shampoo, body wash, and conditioner in the toiletries could be provided in large dispensers like other hotels. Also, it would be great if a front desk staff member could escort guests to their rooms upon check-in.

The room is spacious and offers direct beach access downstairs, with a pool available. The sea water was quite murky, possibly due to a typhoon. The hotel's location is convenient and good, but there aren't many decent entertainment options. Parking management within the hotel is poor; cars are parked haphazardly everywhere. Breakfast is decent, but there's no management. Staff only swipe cards at the entrance; there's no one to guide or manage guests even when the restaurant is full. A server clearing tables just threw a paper napkin at me and told me to wipe the table myself after they took the plates. The lobby entrance is also a mess. Room facilities are aging; the room door doesn't close properly, relying only on a top latch which is practically useless. The service staff are trying hard, but the management isn't great. I've been here many times, and it's getting worse.

First time staying at this hotel, and it was a pleasant experience avoiding the crowds. The breakfast buffet had a limited variety, but the taste was decent. The late-night snack options were a bit monotonous. The room was clean, and the service was good. I just wish there were more breakfast options. It's quite convenient for ordering takeout.

Traveling with my mother-in-law's family of five, we booked a room with two large beds, which was convenient for soaking in the hot springs and watching shows. The mini-train and boat rides in the park are free, as is the playground. Bumper cars are 20 yuan for 5 minutes, and we took the baby twice. The water splashing activity was great! The baby loved the evening theater performance and watched it twice, really enjoying the Fox Sister character.

Facilities: Relatively complete, with a soaking tub. Most importantly, the courtyard allows pets. Cleanliness: Relatively clean, but the two bathrobes were clearly of vastly different quality – one new, one old. The older one was already torn and still in use... Because we had pets, we couldn't stay at Qihai Hotel. We immediately noticed the better linens at the new hotel we booked for our parents... We won't choose to stay at this hotel again.
