Overall, the experience was fantastic. **Facilities:** The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, with a swimming pool, spa, and everything else you could need, including a kids' club. One thoughtful aspect of the hotel is how clearly it separates families with children from those without. Building A primarily hosts families with kids, while Building C typically has very few children. **Cleanliness:** Clean and tidy. **Environment:** Incredible sea view room, and the view from the higher floors is even more enjoyable.

I've stayed in other hotels in Sanya Bay before and found them to have poor soundproofing and airplane noise. The walk to the beach was long, and the underpass was dirty, which made me reluctant to stay in Sanya Bay again. However, this time at the Pullman Oceanview, none of those issues existed. It's a short walk from the public area downstairs to the beach access, and there's even an elevator. The underpass was also very clean. My child loved the water slides and went on them many times. The kids' club isn't huge, but it has everything needed and is very clean. I'll definitely prioritize staying here when I come back to Sanya Bay. Not great value for money, and the overall experience was pretty mediocre. The fact that the island was reclaimed from the sea, and the various buildings on it, are quite astonishing, but it's a real shame how many areas are neglected and falling into disuse. With over 5,000 rooms, the hotel had a high occupancy rate during the holiday, making the lobby feel like a chaotic market, packed with people and incredibly noisy. There were significant delays for check-in, and breakfast was practically a free-for-all, with extremely poor food quality. Room cleanliness was terrible; there were scratches all over the walls, and the bed runner was damaged and still had dried food crumbs from the previous guest on it – makes you wonder how long it hadn't been washed. The room itself was tiny, and when I asked for an extra pillow, I was told they didn't have any. We were a family of one adult and two children, both around six years old, but were told we had to purchase an additional child's breakfast, as two small children couldn't count as one adult. For nearly 600 RMB a night, with nothing included, it really wasn't worth it.

I first stayed at this hotel in 2012, and it was my first time experiencing a five-star hotel. Now, bringing my child back for a revisit, everything feels both nostalgic and wonderfully re-energized. The hotel room facilities are a bit dated, but they are clean and tidy. The bathroom is spacious, and the double sinks are on opposite sides, which is great because it avoids interference. We chose a high-floor sea-view room, and the scenery is stunning. There's also a large bathtub; soaking in it at night while enjoying the city lights is incredibly relaxing. The hotel environment is quite good, and it's very close to the beach. The ocean water is gorgeous during the day, and at night, many children are out on the tidal flats with flashlights, catching small crabs. The breakfast buffet is quite rich, and it's available until 10:30 AM, which is perfect for late risers. The hotel service is excellent. They proactively assigned us a butler; mine was the lovely Annie. From introducing the hotel's environment, facilities, and dining options, to checking in daily on our stay experience, she even replenished our drinks and fruit daily, not just a one-time supply. When the room's air conditioning felt a bit warm, she immediately arranged for an engineer to fix it. Even as we were leaving, she asked if we needed any assistance. The front desk staff who checked us in were also very professional. All the service staff and employees we encountered along the way greeted us. In short, the hotel stay was comfortable, the atmosphere was great, and it felt very thoughtful. 🌸

The room was spacious, bright, and clean, with all the amenities you could ask for. The service was incredibly warm and attentive. The hotel itself has several dining options with a variety of cuisines, which was a real plus. Encountering five-star service at a five-star hotel during the off-season, and getting such great value for money when booking now, made for a truly rewarding experience. Joan and Shela, the ladies at the front desk, were especially welcoming with their radiant smiles, making me feel right at home.

I've visited Sanya many times, and if you're not planning on swimming in the ocean, Atlantis Sanya in Haitang Bay is the perfect choice. The waves in Haitang Bay are strong and there are rip currents, so swimming in the sea isn't allowed. However, the hotel offers a waterpark, aquarium, C Show, dolphin encounters, and sea turtle encounters, ensuring your schedule is packed every day. The C Show is complimentary for two during your stay, and all other activities offer unlimited access. Plus, our room came with a butler, Xiaoma, who was always available to help with any issues 👍. During our stay, I lost my ID at the waterpark, and a staff member named Ken found it and contacted me immediately to return it 👍. The hotel has two breakfast restaurants, and the breakfast here is much better than all the hotels in Yalong Bay 👍. All rooms have sea views with an open panorama facing Wuzhizhou Island. The biggest advantage is the high floors, which make swimsuits dry quickly 👍. I love swimming and playing in the water, so I always bring at least two swimsuits. Here, my swimsuit dried in just 30 minutes 👍! Next time, I'll try staying in a Royal Club room...

We stayed in rooms 7603 and 7609. The hotel's location is excellent, and the sea view from the sixth floor is beautiful. The service was also good. The downside is that room 03 had a strong musty smell, and in room 09, we found a small gecko. We called the service hotline, and they quickly helped us remove it, but the hotel really should do a thorough check before guests check in. The facilities are very old; the TV only showed channels and was very laggy, and it only had HDMI input, no screen mirroring functionality. The Bluetooth connection on the phone only played sound, so we just went to sleep. In the evening, we went to a nearby restaurant and tried Wenchang chicken; the coconut chicken was quite crispy, and the steamed chicken was very tender – both are worth trying. We also ordered stir-fried beef because we saw many cows on the way, but the beef was very tough, so I wouldn't recommend it. The coconut rice was also quite delicious. The next morning, we went to a nearby mountain to watch the sunrise, but unfortunately, the clouds were too thick, and we couldn't see it.

Check-in was a breeze! The front desk agent swiftly handled everything while explaining the hotel's amenities, all within two minutes. She even proactively asked about my invoice details. When I extended my stay the next day, the staff member on duty quickly processed it, updating my key card without needing me to re-verify anything. Check-out was just as smooth; the bill was clear, and my invoice was already prepared. I simply handed over my card and left. They even asked about my stay experience, which was a nice touch.

I originally wanted to switch to the Hilton in Yalong Bay for a different experience, but after just one night, I regretted it. The facilities there were a bit old and it was crowded; the overall experience wasn't as good as expected. My whole family unanimously decided: back to the Hyatt! The moment we returned, my family lay on the balcony sofa, feeling the familiar sea breeze, and exclaimed: This is so much better! And there's the familiar, thoughtful service – our butler Momo was consistently enthusiastic. We extended our stay by two more nights this time, and the longer we stayed, the more we realized our first choice was indeed the best one. That night in Yalong Bay was just a learning experience; for the rest of our holiday, we happily entrusted ourselves to the Grand Hyatt Haitang Bay. Thank you, Momo, and thank you, Hyatt, for repeatedly confirming that we made the right choice. Next time we come to Sanya, no more fussing around – we'll head straight here!

Five stars to The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay! The pool complex is an absolute highlight, with river paddleboarding and the rooftop infinity pool being incredibly photogenic. It's also super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the Duty-Free Shopping Mall. The family-friendly facilities are excellent, the service is thoughtful, and the beach is quiet and uncrowded, making it feel like a true getaway. Although the rooms are a little dated, the overall value for money is fantastic. It's definitely my top choice for a water-based vacation; highly recommended!
