The hotel and room were very clean and tidy. The food was delicious, and it was great to have both breakfast and dinner right there at the hotel. The hot springs were fantastic too, and after a soak, there was complimentary ice cream and yogurt. The hotel even provided complimentary late-night ramen for guests. The value for money here is truly exceptional!

The hotel environment is clean and beautiful, and the service is very attentive. The breakfast buffet is abundant. We chose a Japanese-style (tatami) room, which was spacious and tidy. There's a large public onsen on the top floor, and private onsen baths are also available for reservation (3500 JPY per session). The swimming pool wasn't open, so we missed out on that. The location is very convenient, right next to Shirahama Beach. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is located on a hill, so walking up the steep slope back to the hotel every day was a bit of a challenge for our cardio and stamina, but we just considered it a workout, which was fine. If we come to Shirahama again, we'll definitely choose this place.

The room was very spacious and had no strange smells. The hotel staff even helped move our stored luggage into the room and provided complimentary snacks and water, which was a very thoughtful touch! The TV showed the occupancy of various public areas, which was super considerate. The hot springs were also very comfortable, with good ambiance and cleanliness. After a dip, they offered popsicles, which was a nice treat. There were two large bookshelves nearby where you could pick out your favorite manga to read, and right outside was the massage chair area – absolutely perfect! In the evening, they offered free late-night noodles that were quite tasty, and there was a self-service drink bar. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, and I even got to try local specialty sushi, which was a unique experience. There was an electronic scale at the stairwell for weighing luggage, which was very convenient. I'd love to visit again if I get the chance!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our Japan trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a beautiful atmosphere and excellent facilities. Staff members were polite, helpful, and always smiling, making us feel very welcome from check in until departure. The location was convenient, close to restaurants, attractions, and public transport. Breakfast was delicious with many choices, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. Everything was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely return again in the future someday soon.

The hotel is located right by the river with a beautiful view. You can enjoy the outdoor onsen, and they provide yukata/clothes to change into. It’s a shame because the location is excellent, but the hotel could really use a renovation. The onsen is spacious, but it feels quite old, with moss/algae buildup in some areas, and it’s located next to a smoking room, so the cigarette smell was quite disturbing. Both breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style with a wide variety of options, and the food tastes good. In the evening, there’s also a great selection of alcoholic drinks available.

The bus stop is right outside, making transportation very convenient. The hotel is flanked by the sea on both sides, offering great views. The hotel buffet food is a bit ordinary. A negative point is that the hotel doesn't offer luggage storage, which is quite inconvenient.

This was a wonderful family vacation in a place designed to help you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The onsen with an ocean view was excellent, the breakfasts were superb, the service was great, and everyone around was very kind. I'd love to come back.

The rooms are spacious, but the hotel is quite old, so the facilities are outdated. However, because there are indoor and outdoor hot springs, many locals stay there on weekends, and the lobby bar offers complimentary snacks and drinks, making it good value overall. However, the hotel's location is remote, and there aren't many restaurants nearby, making it very inconvenient if you're not traveling by car.

Definitely interesting experience. Partly tourist tradition, partly religious. As a new, atypical experience in Japan, the meal ritual and the vegetarian cuisine itself were interesting. Participation in the morning Buddhist prayer was valuable. Comfortable nice leather slippers. Saving hot springs on a rainy day. The strict end of the day time was inconvenient for us: the front door closed at 9 pm, and we were not allowed to linger during our walk. Quiet time from 9 p.m.Baths close at 8 and 9 pm. room and onsen is clear and comfortable lobby staff told me the starting dinner time is wrong but at last they special to remake the dinner food for us (5 persons) we're so happy about their staff service very nice and helpful we will choose this hotel again
