Gran Melia Xi'an

The facilities were a bit old. The air conditioning was broken on the first night, and they couldn't fix it in the middle of the night. I woke up several times because of the heat and didn't get any sleep. After finally getting a room change, the bathtub water was still yellow, which was quite frustrating.

The hotel is grand and overlooks Qujiang Pool. The service at the lounge, especially Grace, was excellent. The light meals were delicious, and there was even a surprise delivery – today it was Spanish ham, and they mentioned it changes daily. They also gave a doll to my child. We will definitely be back to stay again.

The service was excellent; staff greeted us proactively every time. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both Spanish delicacies and local Xi'an specialties. We paid extra to upgrade to an executive room, and the afternoon tea was substantial. The executive breakfast, which allows à la carte ordering, is highly recommended. The hotel's location is fantastic, close to major attractions and with convenient transportation.

The hotel is located in the heart of Qujiang New District, right across the road from Qujiang Site Park and the Grand Tang Dynasty Furong Garden. It's also just one subway stop from the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and you can even walk to the Grand Tang Everbright City. The hotel itself is quite grand, and its own dining options are excellent. The breakfast is very rich, and both the Cantonese restaurant and the Spanish restaurant are great. It's also very close to Furong Xintiandi. Everything else was perfect, except for the limited number of power outlets by the bed (many B&Bs even offer Type-C and Lightning charging ports).

The service was very attentive, and the overall hotel environment was good! It's very close to the Grand Tang Everbright City, and the hotel's swimming pool was also decent. The breakfast tasted pretty good, and our vacation hotel experience this time was quite pleasant.

I've stayed at this hotel many times, and this time they recommended upgrading to an executive room package, which was fantastic value for money. Firstly, it included a small afternoon buffet, and the food quality was just as good as outside restaurants – small but exquisite. The breakfast also had a dedicated area, so we weren't disturbed, which was great. Xiao Yang from the executive lounge provided excellent service.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. First off, the service attitude was excellent; the staff were very welcoming. As soon as we got out of the car, someone came to help with our luggage. The hotel's location is also great, with plenty of food options nearby. The hotel's buffet was fantastic, my child loved it, and it even had some delicious Xi'an specialty dishes. We also received a complimentary travel photoshoot, and the photographers were very dedicated and responsible. My daughter, who loves traditional costumes, was thrilled with the results! We'll definitely be back!

This was my first trip to Xi'an with my daughter and grandson, and we were all extremely satisfied with the hotel's environment, facilities, and service. It offered excellent value for money. The breakfast was plentiful and there was a kids' activity area which my grandson absolutely loved. The swimming pool was also a hit with both adults and children. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-designed. Overall, it was a rich experience with very warm service. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an.

Didn't have high hopes initially, especially since it was 800 and included a travel photoshoot. But it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The lobby is spacious and beautiful, and the stay was comfortable. The photoshoot was just okay; if you know how to do your own makeup, I'd suggest doing it beforehand for a better result. The service was consistently good throughout. I really love Xi'an, it's a wonderful city.
