Jinfo Mountain is located in the Nanchuan District of Chongqing. Show More ReviewsWe used navigation to navigate to the west slope of Jinfo Mountain. The west slope is very close to Tianxing Town, where you can eat before climbing. However, the west slope cable car is currently closed. You must arrive at the ticket gate before 12 PM to reach the summit; otherwise, you can only climb halfway. Make sure to check this beforehand. However, halfway is perfectly manageable for a weakling like me. I can't believe it took us four hours to reach the parking lot at the west slope cable car station. The first half of the climb is very gentle, like a leisurely stroll. The last 2 kilometers are all uphill.
