This was a terrible choice. You can't check in until after 3 PM, even if there are rooms available. There's no customer service, everything is automated. For luggage, whether checking in or out, it costs 1000 Korean Won per bag per hour. The room is incredibly small; you can't even open a suitcase. There's no chair, and barely any space to walk. Plus, there's a boiler room *inside* the room! The toilet seat was really dirty. I can't believe it. At 1000 RMB a night, you absolutely must avoid this place. I saw a lot of tour groups, so independent travelers, definitely do not book this hotel.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Sollago Myeongdong Hotel. The room was very spacious and perfect for a family. It had two separate rooms, each with a double bed, plus two single beds in the living room. It fit our family of five very comfortably. The unit was well equipped with a washer, smart TV, microwave, ref/freezer, and smart bidet, which made our stay easy and stress free—especially for a longer trip. The location is a big plus. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk to the subway and bus stops (Chungmuro), making it very convenient to get around Seoul. There is also a convenience store right downstairs, and many local Korean restaurants nearby, so food was never a problem. Btw, it’s a self check-in/out hotel. Very modern indeed! Overall, this hotel is a great choice for families who want space, comfort, and easy access to transport. We would gladly stay here again.

The hotel is about 200 meters from the subway station and airport bus stop, and about 1 kilometer from Myeongdong. The cleaning staff were very polite and enthusiastic, and the room was spotless. The room also came with a huge fridge and a microwave, which was very convenient. The apartment room itself wasn't very big, making it a bit difficult to open a suitcase, and ventilation was just so-so. Downstairs, there's a Korean BBQ restaurant, a fried chicken place, and a GS25 convenience store. Overall, it was pretty good. Perhaps due to the price, the guests were mostly from Japan, Southeast Asia, and China, with hardly any locals staying there.

This is an apartment-style stay, clean, simple, and comfortable. It's located between two subway stations, making either one a short walk away. The door has an electronic lock, and the heating works very well. There are tons of food options nearby. For our first three days in Seoul, my friends and I booked a suite. After coming back from Busan, I stayed in a single room, and both experiences were great.

Very small rooms which appears bigger in photos advertised. Bed sheets were dirty and although there was a washing machine, you had to get your own detergent which was not noted anywhere. Alarms could easily go off. Luggage storage was inconvenient and unfair to foreigners. It is a pay to store system in lockers in the basement while Korean speaking guests can store their luggage in the front reception. This can be seen in the note of the kyggagge storage as it is not in Korean but foreign languages. Staff was unfriendly and did not smile, they prefer us using self check in and out and appears unhappy when we approached them. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and this one in Myeongdong is the worst. Location is not great, approximately 30 minute walk to nearby station.
