Beijing Olympic Park

Beijing Olympic Park is located at the northern end of Beijing's central axis extension. It embodies the three core concepts of "technology, green, and humanity," serving as a multifunctional urban area integrating offices, commerce, hotels, culture, sports, conferences, and residential spaces. Construction began in 2003, and the park officially opened on July 3, 2008. Not only does it act as an ecological barrier for the city, but it also served as a recreational retreat for athletes, coaches, and Olympic officials during the 2008 Games. After the Olympics, to promote the utilization of Olympic venues and facilities while providing public green space, the park's southern section was adjusted and opened free to the public on October 26, 2008. The northern section followed on September 30, 2009, achieving full public access. Post-Olympics additions include cruise services and commercial operations. Key attractions feature Yangshan Hill, Tianjing Scenic Area, Olympic Lake, Morning Blossoms & Evening Reflections, and the Forest Art Center.
