JEN Hangzhou by Shangri-La

Facilities: For the price, you can't complain and shouldn't expect more. The gym and pool were very satisfying; the mineral water provided in the gym was just like what you'd find at a high-end hotel like MO. The in-room water was a bit disappointing, but the complimentary mini-bar was excellent, especially the New Zealand sparkling water, which again, felt like a luxury hotel amenity. The 🇩🇰Jamo speakers in the room had good sound quality. Cleanliness: Could use improvement in the details. Environment: Acceptable. Service: Not very professional, but the attitude was great. I visited this hotel less than a week after its grand opening at the end of July – I always prefer new hotels! **Facilities:** The hard furnishings are classically elegant, and the materials used are high-quality. The shower has great water pressure and is very comfortable, and it's a huge plus that the bathroom has air conditioning. The hotel is built right above the Hangyang Metro station. Next to it is the Kerry Centre, which is still under construction. The hotel elevator even has a sign for 'Shopping Mall' on the third floor, meaning once it's finished, there will be direct access to the mall. **Breakfast:** Absolutely delightful! It's à la carte, exquisite, and delicious. **Service:** The two front desk staff, who looked more like lobby managers, were incredibly pleasant to look at. And a special shout-out to Clover at the front desk – she proactively reached out to me before I even arrived to ask about my needs, and once I was there, she answered every single question thoroughly. Highly satisfied!

Traveling with family and kids, our stay was quite pleasant. The hotel pool was a big hit with the children. The staff were all warm and patient, and our butler, Bonnie, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, even helping me switch to a twin room. This time, they also provided an air purifier in the room, so we didn't smell any new renovation odors. The bedding was very comfortable, and the sleep-aid music really helped everyone get a good night's rest. We had a wonderfully comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it!

The hotel just opened, but there's no unpleasant smell in the rooms. The room has a minimalist modern style, perfect for young urbanites. The details reflect the expected quality and uniqueness. On the day of check-in, the sun was bright, and the complimentary upgrade to a bathtub was lovely. The rich foam of the Malin+Goetz bath gel kept the kids entertained. Although the hotel doesn't have specific children's amenities, the large bathtub made up for it. Thanks to Bonnie for her professional and enthusiastic service; the welcome fruit and minibar were great experiences. We didn't get to experience the pool or the semi-buffet Chinese and Western breakfast. It's also a shame that the Kerry Centre mall wasn't open yet. Apparently, the bar is also a trendy social space, which I'll leave for others to explore.

The hotel just opened, and overall I'm very satisfied with it. The only thing is that the surrounding commercial area is still under construction and not fully developed yet, but it will definitely improve in the future. Overall, it's still quite good. Bonnie at the front desk was very enthusiastic and provided excellent service, even upgrading my room. The breakfast was also decent.

I recently visited Hangzhou and stayed at the JEN HOTEL, a Shangri-La property, and had a fantastic experience! The hotel is very new, and the rooms are spotless. The staff are all incredibly enthusiastic, always greeting guests and providing excellent service. Bonnie, the lady at the front desk, was especially patient and quickly resolved an issue I had. A huge thank you to her! I'll definitely choose JEN again on my next trip to Hangzhou!

The front desk service was very warm and welcoming, and the bellhop at the entrance was also very responsible and efficient. They proactively upgraded our room type. The hotel's pool and gym facilities are excellent. I will definitely recommend this hotel to any family or friends visiting Hangzhou in the future!
