Arxan's autumn scenery is most beautiful in mid-September. I spent a day and a half exploring two routes within the Arxan National Forest Park, witnessing breathtaking views of yellow, red, and green hues, vast larch and birch forests, and layered mountains. On the third day, I drove through Chaihe Town, visiting Moon Lake, the Ten Great Bays, rock paintings, and Tongxin Lake – the journey itself was also beautiful. The only drawback was that the infrastructure at the Tianchi scenic area needs improvement; there were too many gravel roads. Also, it was difficult to hail a taxi from the scenic area to Arxan city; ride-sharing and online car-hailing services were hard to find. I look forward to a more pleasant surprise next time I visit!
