Canopy by Hilton Xi'an Qujiang

It's been years since I last visited Xi'an, and I had no idea where to stay! I chose the JIA HOTEL for several reasons: 1. Purely because of the name (Jia and Yue are the last characters of my husband's and my names, respectively. There was no reason not to choose it, as it even matched the characters! 😅) 2. When I clicked on it, there was a 200 RMB national subsidy coupon for Xi'an and a complimentary breakfast for two. My good mood arrived even before I did! 👏 Now, let me share my experience after staying for two days: Room: The bedding was incredibly comfortable; once you lay down, you don't want to get up. It came with a deep bathtub. Upon check-in, we received welcome fruits, including local persimmons, and a handwritten card. It felt very thoughtful! 🫶🏻 Location: Only after arriving did I realize it was right inside the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. Stepping out of the hotel immediately puts you in the scenic area with zero-frame loading. The Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Furong Garden, and Chang'an Twelve Hours are all within walking distance, saving a lot on taxi fares. Hotel Dining: Breakfast included local specialties like Shui Pen Lamb, Roujiamo, and Saozi Noodles, which tasted quite authentic. Lunch and dinner were offered at a 10% discount for hotel guests. Gym: This was particularly impressive! The colorful equipment made for great photos. Even though I'm usually a late riser, I actually woke up at 8 AM to work out and take pictures! 🤣 The lobby transforms into a bar in the evening, with live singers on Fridays and Saturdays. Every detail of the decor in the corridors, including the elevator area, was meticulous. There's even a four-panel weather display that updates daily based on the weather forecast. This is a very youthful hotel! Next time I visit another city, I'll definitely prioritize checking if they have one. #JIAHotel #Xi'an

First of all, a huge thank you to the hotel for the free room upgrade! My husband ran a fever on our first day in Xi'an, and the hotel kindly extended our check-out time until 3:00 PM the next day. It was such a considerate and humane gesture. Great service, convenient location, and very warm and friendly staff!

The location is fantastic, right next to the Datang Everbright City, and very close to all popular tourist attractions—about a 30-minute walk to the Shaanxi History Museum. The service was excellent, very warm, and polite.

The hotel room is a bit small, but the location is fantastic, right next to the Tang Paradise (Great Tang All Day Mall). Most importantly, the service is exceptional. From the doormen to the lobby manager, everyone makes you feel right at home. I would definitely consider staying here again next time.

Canopy by Hilton is arguably the best-located five-star hotel in Xi'an. I really love exploring the Datang Everbright City nearby~ Plus, having opened in 2022, it features a high level of smart technology that makes the stay very comfortable, and the rooms are kept impeccably clean. The baked goods at breakfast were delicious. The hotel generously upgraded our room and extended our check-out to 2 PM~ However, I really have to complain about the service standards. Aside from the front desk staff, who were quite pleasant, the rest of the team seemed completely untrained. There was no one to seat us at breakfast, and when we went to get our complimentary drinks, the staff member was engrossed in his phone right in front of us. He didn't react at all when we told him what we wanted to drink, only looking up two seconds later to ask us the same thing. The bellhops were also a mixed bag—some had a great attitude while others just stood around like props. The service quality was completely all over the place. All in all, when you go out to travel, you want to be in a good mood; hotels shouldn't let these kinds of things ruin their guests' experience, right? Also, during check-in, what was that brief flash on the screen? It felt so cheap and tacky.

Booked this room on a whim, and it totally exceeded my expectations. Located right on the Grand Tang Mall, getting around was super convenient. The room had a bright and modern decor, and the lobby was beautifully set up. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, the items were exquisite and delicious.

Facilities: Excellent Ambiance: Undoubtedly the most aesthetically pleasing hotel in all of Xi'an. Service: Very good. Tipsy Couple's Cocktail & Snacks: In the evening, you can enjoy a drink and listen to live music – very pleasant. This hotel is in the absolute best location, right in the center of the Grand Tang Everbright City, though a bit far from the subway. I genuinely believe it's the most beautiful hotel in all of Xi'an, with its exterior blending classical and modern styles. The room's color scheme is quite striking, but rooms facing the inner courtyard don't have much of a view. Breakfast was good. If you're visiting the Grand Tang Everbright City, I highly recommend staying here for ultimate convenience; you can pop back to rest anytime.

An excellent stay, especially thanks to our butler Molly, who helped us change rooms and meticulously organized all our belongings. She also offered fantastic recommendations for transportation and dining. This level of service, combined with the great location, made our experience absolutely flawless.
