based on 8,563 reviewsTokyo Tower, also known as the Tokyo Iron Tower, is a popular sightseeing spot in Tokyo. It is a radio tower located in Shiba Park, Tokyo, Japan. The red-and-white latticed tower was modeled on the Eiffel Tower in Paris and stands 333 meters tall. Since its completion in 1958, it has remained one of Tokyo's city landmarks, and its image and name have frequently appeared in various works of art. In recent years, as the public's expectations for scenery have risen, the tower is no longer subject to color restrictions, but its original paintwork is so distinctive that it has been kept as it is. The lighting was designed and supervised by the world-renowned lighting designer Motoko Ishii, and the lights are on from sunset to midnight. The color of the lights changes with the seasons: white in summer, and orange in spring, autumn, and winter.
Tokyo Tower offers a rich array of sightseeing services. In addition to its bright, transparent observation platforms, it also has leisure and entertainment facilities such as a museum, restaurants, and shops, making a stroll here a thoroughly pleasant choice.
Around Tokyo Tower, specks of light sparkle like diamonds. This lighting system can change the color of the lights into as many as seven colors, and each color carries a message.

The main observation decks inside the tower are the Grand Observation Deck and the Special Observation Deck, where, on a clear day, you may also catch a glimpse of the beautiful scenery of Mount Fuji.

△[Grand Observation Deck] Located at a height of 150 meters, it is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides.

△The Grand Observation Deck also features several "Skywalk Windows" with glass floors, offering a direct view down to the ground and providing a thrilling experience.

△The Special Observation Deck is a viewing area open only to visitors with advance reservations. It boasts a futuristic design with dazzling mirrored installations throughout. The tour is buided commentary by a professional guide whose warm and friendly service and detailed buided commentary will give you a comprehensive understanding of Tokyo Tower's past and future.

Show More ReviewsElectronic ticketing was very convenient. Upon arrival, I simply scanned the code to enter. Throughout the visitor platform, a staff member provided explanations and accompaniment; the service was excellent. Before setting off, I checked the weather forecast, which predicted the best visibility between 4-6 PM, around 20 kilometers, so I went up the tower at 4:30 PM. There weren't many people, and I leisurely walked around the tower twice, getting a panoramic view of Tokyo – very impressive! 👍 The only slight disappointment was that there were clouds over Mount Fuji, so I couldn't see it.
