Yupin ·villa pagoda ancient courtyard (Dali Santa Cangshan branch)

Service: The service was exceptional. Having stayed at quite a few hotels in Yunnan during the National Day holiday, this one had the most responsible and thoughtful butler. They helped with our luggage, delivered afternoon tea and evening wine, and even gave us a free room upgrade. We could completely rely on the front desk for laundry, and breakfast was served right to our room. Location & Transport: The hotel is located near the Three Pagodas. I'd recommend renting an electric scooter nearby, which makes getting around very convenient. It's easy to reach Dali Ancient Town and Cangshan Mountain from here, though Erhai Lake is a bit further away. Room: The room was very unique, featuring a living room on the first floor and the bedroom on the second, offering plenty of private space with a charming, antique vibe. All in all, this is a place I would definitely consider staying at again next time I visit Dali!

Excellent review. The entire courtyard has a wonderful ambiance, perfectly suiting my discerning taste for accommodations. The location is also great, right next to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple, within walking distance. Breakfast was delivered to the room every day, I just forgot to take a picture of it.

Step back in time at this 200-year-old Bai ethnic traditional house, right next to the Three Pagodas in Dali! You can walk there in no time. As soon as we entered the courtyard, we were blown away – it's a beautifully preserved 200-year-old Bai ancient house. Every brick and tile in the exquisite and well-maintained courtyard speaks to the wealth and grandeur of its original owners. There's a small pavilion in the courtyard with a Gobang (five-in-a-row) board, and my son and husband immediately started playing, having a blast. In the morning, I opened the door and stepped onto the balcony to see Cangshan Mountain directly in front of me, shrouded in mist. It truly felt like being transported back to the Bai era of old. We even met four friends from Italy during our stay, and they also absolutely loved traditional Chinese architecture. The environment is quiet and comfortable. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves ancient architecture and a slow-paced lifestyle!

I was very satisfied! They upgraded my room, and the service was excellent. They even offer afternoon tea every day. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean, so I extended my stay for another day. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. The pick-up and drop-off service was also well-arranged. Renting an electric scooter made it very convenient to get to the Old Town.

The environment was great, and they upgraded our room. The decor was also very unique. They even made a special trip to bring us bath bombs late at night after we came back from eating and playing – truly excellent service!
