"Staying in the Smart King Room at WeShe No.2 Courtyard was an absolutely amazing experience! All the smart devices in the room were easy to operate, and the room itself was clean and quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. You can also check out the cafe at Courtyard No.1. The atmospheric corners there are perfect for photos, with walls full of singer posters, cute dolls, and traveler messages – definitely Instagram-worthy! Plus, you can pet PiPi, a gentle and cuddly corgi. The fourth-floor terrace offers an incredible view; last night, I was lucky enough to catch a stunning pink-orange sunset with a complete rainbow. Erhai Lake and the rolling mountains were all visible, and the evening breeze was incredibly therapeutic. It's also just a short walk to the beach. The owner provided thoughtful and detailed service. You get to enjoy a smart room, a trendy cafe, a scenic terrace, a cute dog, and even the chance to witness a beautiful sunset – this is definitely my top choice for a long stay in Dali!"

"The hotel is located in a villa area, very new, and tastefully decorated. It's very quiet. I arrived around 10 AM, and this is my third hotel in Yunnan, and comparatively, it's my favorite. The room has excellent natural light, and the upstairs terrace is also very comfortable. I came back from watching a stand-up show in Dali Old Town feeling very happy that evening. Unfortunately, after putting on a disposable pillowcase, I discovered another pillow underneath had a footprint. I took photos and communicated with the butler. Around 11 PM, they came to change the pillowcase. I told them I was too tired and asked for an explanation the next day, and that I didn't want this pillow as it was very off-putting. I was woken up by the light at 7 AM the next day. The hotel's blackout curtains aren't great. I hope they can improve this quickly. Even with my own steam eye mask, it still felt a bit bright. I ended up adding five or six tissues inside the eye mask and managed to doze off for a little while longer. The reason I'm leaving this review is because no one followed up on the promise made at 11 PM last night to provide an explanation the next day. I still hope the hotel can improve."

"This guesthouse is right by Erhai Lake. It was easy to find even when driving, thanks to the navigation. The owner's wife was waiting for us at the village entrance, showed us to the free parking, and then helped us with our luggage. The rooms were very spacious, with one king-size bed and one family room. You could see Erhai Lake right from the balcony. They even gave us a souvenir when we left. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Erhai Lake; it offers great value for money!"

"What made this trip so enjoyable, first and foremost, was how unexpectedly great our guesthouse turned out to be. Given how affordable it was, I honestly just expected it to be 'good enough,' but it exceeded all expectations! Firstly, the room was incredibly spacious, which was perfect since we were traveling with a child – there was plenty of room for them to move around. Secondly, the guesthouse was really clean, and it even had a bathtub, making for a very comfortable stay. The owner, a lovely lady, provided fantastic service; she helped us with our luggage as soon as we arrived. Traveling with a child can be quite a handful, so her help was truly appreciated, and she was always quick to respond to any requests we had. Finally, the room window offered a beautiful view of Cangshan Mountain, which was really lovely to look out at. Highly recommend! 👍🏻👍🏻"

I was initially worried about there being no elevator, but the owner kindly helped carry my luggage upstairs, and also helped again when I checked out. The room's soundproofing was reliable, so there was no disruptive noise, and the location was easy to find. It offers great value for money. They even gave us a guide and travel tips, helping us avoid common pitfalls. Plus, the electric scooters were free to use, saving us taxi fares. This guesthouse is definitely worth recommending!
