"This guesthouse is absolutely lovely! My family recommended it to us, and it truly lived up to their praise. The location is fantastic! It's nestled within the Shuanglang Ancient Town, offering a peaceful retreat while still providing stunning views of Erhai Lake. Breakfast: Healthy and plentiful, with milk, soy milk, coffee, plus a pre-arranged healthy meal that changes daily – really well done! The service from the auntie was also excellent; she even thoughtfully packed up food for our baby who wasn't awake yet. Thank you! Bed: Just the right firmness, very comfortable! Restaurant: A very photogenic spot, great for taking pictures. Parking: There's a parking lot, and the butler will pick you up with a car and help with luggage. Very convenient! Room Facilities: Not brand new, but clean and hygienic, perfectly adequate. The heating was also very good! You can directly feed the seagulls and watch the sunset from the balcony, and enjoy the sun in the afternoon! Afternoon Tea: Includes fruits, desserts, coffee, and fruit tea! Travel Photography: The collaborating photographer is quite skilled, with good equipment, and the post-editing is excellent! Definitely worth it! They're also great at capturing emotions and getting the right shots! WiFi: Available! Butler Service: The one-on-one service is incredibly attentive. Although most are male butlers, they are genuinely polite, prompt, thoughtful, and wonderful. They even say hello online after their shift and provide other contact methods to avoid any handover issues. Truly excellent! Our butler, Liujin, deserves extra praise! I've already recommended it to my friends; it's really great!"

"The room was impeccably clean. Every morning, the rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of Cangshan Mountain. The guesthouse owner was incredibly hospitable and provided exceptionally attentive service. Its location is fantastic, very close to the South Gate of the Ancient City, with a lively night market right outside your doorstep in the evenings. There's also a car rental shop conveniently located right next to the guesthouse."

He and his team were warm, thoughtful, and attentive to every little detail — making sure all my requests were taken care of with care and efficiency. The view of my room is breathtaking! "I accidentally booked a super super beautiful dream homestay, facing Erhai Lake, with spring flowers blooming! Watch Erhai Lake in the bathing pool with rose petals (the boss personally went out to buy roses🌺petals), watch Erhai Lake from the tea table, and Erhai Lake is right outside the door! Blowing the wind on the rooftop upstairs, I saw the years from the perspective of a flower, and the world is quiet and good! Even if you don’t go out, the fish in the pool next to the bar will make you forget all the worldly things, leaving only 7 seconds and 7 seconds of beautiful memories forever! The key is that the boss is a good person. Our 76-year-old family member commented that ”the boss is honest, a good person, and is doing honest and conscientious business!”. As soon as we got off the plane, the boss sent 2 cars to pick up our family of 5, and it was free! ! ! ! When we set off, the boss helped us book a clean and good business car, which saved 1,200 yuan compared to the car I booked myself! ! ! ! Good luck, I met this handsome and kind boss when I met Erhai Lake! It’s great..."

"Found a gem! Booked for eight nights straight. Before coming to Dali, I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of B&Bs, but this one didn't disappoint. Its location is perfect, just across from the ancient city, and there are plenty of food delivery options nearby. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast – how many B&Bs in Dali can say that? Although it's a B&B, both the facilities and services are up to hotel standards, definitely a solid 4.5 stars, if not 5. Yet, it still retains the warmth of a B&B owner, giving you a wonderful 'home away from home' feeling! I've experienced both the 'starry sky' room and the room with a hot tub. The hot tub in the 'starry sky' room is indoors, while the other is in the room's small courtyard. I was initially worried if it would be too cold or too sunny in February, and if there'd be enough hot water. As a 'Northeast old iron' (a term for someone from Northeast China, implying resilience), I can confirm that my family of three used it every single day!"

"Great hotel about 20 mins ride from the busy Dali ancient city. Located in a quiet area right beside the Erhai lakeside bike/walking path. Hotel staff communicated via WeChat and was very fast to respond to all requests. Free pick up from the train station was a great perk. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities. The room view is facing the westwards mountains and not Erhai lake itself, but is still stunning as the back of the hotel overlooks a pond and farming areas. The hotels rooftop is a great place for unique photo opportunities. Hotel doesn't offer much food options besides breakfast (which was very good), but staff recommended several restaurants within walking distance that were good. There was a BBQ restaurant right beside the hotel that we enjoyed. Bike rentals are available for a reasonable price. Overall a pleasant stay!"

Waking up in bed, I'd just use my voice to open the curtains and the beautiful sunrise over Cangshan Mountain would instantly wash away any sleepiness. In the evenings, we'd relax on the balcony watching the sunset, while the kids happily played in the hot spring pool... Everything was just perfect! [applause emoji] The breakfast rice noodles were delicious! The hotel was a bit short-staffed during the New Year, so the owner was hands-on and very responsive to every request. Bringing my whole family here was an excellent experience."

"Just checked out and wanted to leave a glowing review while it's fresh in my mind. Our family of three stayed in the 280 sqm private hot spring villa, and the space was incredibly generous! It was our first time staying in such a huge hotel, and it was so comfortable; our child had a blast running around the room. What we loved most was the private hot spring in the courtyard. Using the hot spring bathing set, soaking in the warm water melted all the fatigue from our journey away. The room facilities were very new, the bedding was comfortable, and the rice noodles at breakfast were delicious too. The butler service was incredibly attentive and responsive to all our needs; we just had to contact them directly for anything. The security guard at the entrance even helped bring our takeaways to the room. If you're looking for a quiet, comfortable, and relaxing place in Dali, this would be an excellent choice."
