Opero Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru

The bed was very comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. The room was nice overall, but the hair dryer was poor and didn't work very well. Rate on weekdays was high, opt for without breakfast ＜ RM300.

Really enjoy my business plus leisure stay with wife in Opero. Everything are clean & welcoming. We feeback the sink bit blocked, they come & fix with breeze. Everyone are friendly. Can further improve by give detactable shower will be more awesome. Location is good to avoid rush hour to my client

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Opero Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru I stayed at Opero Hotel Southkey Johor Bahru from 24–25 June 2026 and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms that provided a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room was equipped with everything needed for a short getaway. The location is excellent, especially for shopping and dining, with convenient access to Southkey and other nearby attractions. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient during both check-in and check-out, making the entire experience smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities and the overall welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. It offered great value for money and exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Johor Bahru and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

I really love this hotel whenever I visits JB area. It was near with Mid Valley Southkey shopping mall. I love the breakfast spread and really love the scenery and the hotel alao have a good smell🥰

A very comfortable stay for a night at Opero Hotel. It is convenient and walking distance to Midvalley Southkey mall. I will return to stay at Opero hotel again if I travel to JB.

The best feature of this hotel i'd say is the price - an average of SGD135/night inclusive of taxes. The location while near to Southkey Mid Valley mall, it is a good 12 mins walk through the open carpark and can be either scorching hot / not possible under heavy rain. While the hotel does provide shuttle service to the mall, it only operates from 12pm-8pm, in 1 hour blocks. For those that wants to go to the mall early morning, can opt to take grab at around RM5. The hotel has 2 pools which looks good (we didnt try). Breakfast is excellent with wide variety of choice, but can get crowded at around 9pm onwards. As for the room, it is quite small and looks tired, with some fixtures broken (our room's bathroom caddy holder was broken and hanging only by a screw). General cleanliness is ok but can spot some moulds in the bathroom. Within 2 mins walking distance, there's a 24 hour halal food, a convenience store and a KK mart (24 hours).

Hotel amenities are great just that iphone not able to mirror to TV, only for Android. Have to walk a distance to the mall nearby.

I enjoy the convenience ot amenities around the hotel, not forgetting the nearby Midvalley Southkey Mall. Staff is friendly, Parking is convenient.

This hotel is near to midvalley and with shuttle bus hourly. Room is comfortable and clean. Will come back again.
