Chimelong Penguin Hotel

Choosing the Penguin Hotel truly made our Zhuhai trip incredibly easy. The hotel's location is fantastic; it's not only close to the Ocean Kingdom but also offers a free shuttle bus to the Spaceship Theme Park, just a few minutes away. We didn't have to worry about transportation at all. The lobby is filled with childlike charm, and the giant penguin sculpture is particularly eye-catching. Check-in was smooth, and the staff even upgraded our tickets for the Kaka Tiger Theater. The room amenities were complete and thoughtful, with the entire room themed around emperor penguin cartoons. When I showed photos to my daughter, she was very envious and said she wants to come next time too. The WiFi coverage was extensive and consistently smooth. The Emperor Penguin Buffet had a rich variety of dishes. The hotel has also thought of everything around the property. On our way back after watching the fireworks, we passed a square where many women were interacting and playing games with children. There's also the Kaka Paradise, where kids can play all day, and for guests dining there, they even provide access to a platform to watch the fireworks. During this time, they thoughtfully covered unfinished meals for guests, so we had no worries at all throughout our stay. We spent three wonderful days and two nights here.

Staying at the Penguin Hotel was incredibly convenient! Check-in was a breeze, and right outside was the Penguin Restaurant with a huge variety of dishes – both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The hotel is also super close to Chimelong, and we even got in an hour earlier, which was amazing fun. The NPCs were all so friendly and we played lots of mini-games. I had an absolutely fantastic time!

Zhuhai Chimelong Penguin Hotel is perfect for families with kids! The entire hotel is filled with charming penguin-themed decorations, and they even provide kids' toiletries and bathtubs, showing great attention to detail. There's an exclusive pathway that's just a few minutes' walk to Ocean Kingdom, and you can even enter early. It's super convenient to head back to the hotel after watching the fireworks. The Emperor Penguin Buffet Restaurant lets you dine while watching penguins, which my child absolutely loved. The staff were warm and patient, making for a fantastic stay!

The hotel's location is fantastic! There's a dedicated express lane to Ocean Kingdom, so we didn't have to queue and could enter the park directly, which saved us a ton of time. The room also thoughtfully provided plenty of complimentary bottled water, and the attention to detail was evident, with all corners rounded, so no worries about bumps or scrapes. Check-in at the front desk was super fast; the staff were very efficient, and we got our room cards without a long wait. Check-out was convenient too – just drop the card, no need to queue at the front desk, which saved a lot of time. There's a shuttle bus to Spaceship Park, making getting around very easy. The buffet restaurant is spacious, accommodating many diners at once, and offers a wide variety of dishes. Plus, you can get up close and personal with penguins – and not just one type! Watching the penguins eat while I ate was a joy. There are also educational documentaries on penguin breeding, showing how much effort Chimelong puts in.

First time staying at the Penguin Hotel, and honestly, from check-in to check-out, there were virtually no complaints. I genuinely recommend it to all adults 👫 and kids 🧒👧! The hotel's penguin theme is immersive from the moment you step in. The giant penguin sculpture in the lobby is super eye-catching, and in the room, from the bedding and toiletries to the decorative paintings, adorable penguin elements are everywhere. 😌 The only minor downside was the lack of central heating, but the hotel thoughtfully provided a space heater (the duvet was warm enough, but I personally get cold easily 🥶). The exclusive express通道 (fast track) takes just 3 minutes on foot directly to Ocean Kingdom. Guests also get to enter an hour earlier, easily avoiding the morning rush, which means no long queues for popular attractions. After watching the fireworks show at night, you don't have to battle crowds; it's just a few minutes' walk back to your room. The buffet breakfast, at a little over 100 RMB per person, is also highly recommended. There's a wide selection, and items are replenished immediately (I was so excited to eat 🥰 that I forgot to take photos 📷!). Service was excellent throughout. The front desk staff proactively shared park touring tips during check-in, and after checking out, we could store our luggage for free, allowing us to enjoy an extra half-day of fun without worry. Housekeeping was responsive, and any requests were handled promptly. The staff were enthusiastic and patient throughout, showing great attention to detail. It truly offers a one-stop experience for dining, lodging, and entertainment. Overall, the experience exceeded expectations. Whether it's the thematic ambiance, the location, or the service, everything was impeccable. I'll definitely choose Penguin Hotel again!

This hotel is absolutely adorable! It's one of those places that wows you at first sight. The room decor is all penguin-themed, which even got my kid, who usually hates brushing their teeth, excited about it. At the Emperor Penguin Restaurant, you can watch cute little penguins while you eat, and there's a great variety of delicious food that really suited my child's taste. Such a charming hotel, we definitely have to visit again on our next trip to Chimelong!
