L’Escape, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul Myeongdong

This hotel boasts a fantastic location. You can take bus 6001 directly from Incheon Airport, and it drops you off right across the street. In the evenings, it's just a five-minute walk to the Myeongdong area. Service: The service here meets the Luxury Collection's high standards. The Concierge on the first floor, in particular, has an outstanding attitude. Facilities: The hotel is very well-maintained and feels new. The style is a 19th-century French romantic theme, predominantly featuring red tones.

Although the hotel has been open for several years, the room maintenance exceeded my expectations. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the quality was exceptionally high. The location is also superb, right at the entrance of Hoehyeon Subway Station, with direct elevator access.

Let's start with the pros: 1. The hotel's location is excellent, right behind Shinsegae Department Store, and only about a 5-minute walk to Myeongdong shopping street. 2. There's a subway station downstairs, and the surrounding area offers plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. 3. The hotel's style leans more towards medieval Baroque. If you're not particularly fond of this somewhat quirky decor, I'd suggest reconsidering. However, for a unique travel experience, this hotel is definitely a plus. 4. There are three Michelin-starred restaurants right on the hotel's upper floors, making it very convenient for food lovers. Cons: No significant issues with the hotel. Worth staying, haha!

The hotel's location is truly excellent; you can walk to Myeongdong from any direction in under ten minutes. Reception is on the first floor, and check-in is on the seventh. Your luggage will be delivered to your room. The hotel's overall style is very 'old money' chic. The room cleaning is incredibly thorough, and coffee capsules are replenished daily. The bedding is very comfortable, and the conditioner is especially good. Toothbrushes are priced, so it's best to bring your own. The shower is a seated type, which means it's quite low; if you prefer to stand, you'll need to hold the showerhead yourself.

Stayed for two days. The service was pretty average, but they provided complimentary water and the slippers were really comfortable. However, there was a thick layer of dust on the room table. The bedding was good.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with soft bedding that ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were gentle and thoughtful. The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and dining. The hot water and internet worked perfectly, and the bathroom was meticulously cleaned. Overall, it offers good value for money, is quiet, and not noisy, making for a very relaxing trip. I would prioritize this hotel again on my next visit and highly recommend it!
