I received a lot of help from the reception and had a pleasant stay.
The location was good, and everything was perfect.
If you are looking for a good value accommodation in Berat, I highly recommend it.
We were extremely well welcomed.
The room was very large, well fitted, very clean and the bed very comfortable too.
Breakfast is taken at the hotel opposite and was good too. The location is very practical since the city center is a mere 5mn walk or less.
I definately recommend this place
Great hotel near the castle. It’s quite a steep climb uphill, but if you are visiting the castle to watch the sunset, it’s convenient to go directly to the hotel afterwards. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too. But the best part is the included free breakfast. It was a very enjoyable getaway.
the location is great, walk to everything. breakfast is very nice. I had problems w housekeeping. when I was arrived I was put in a room where the air conditioning didn't work and the toilet seat was broken. now if you cleaned a toilet you would know a toilet seat is broken and report it. I had to report to staff the toilet seat was broken. at the time. I didn't realize the air conditioner didn't work but after running it for 3 hours and a room was still so hot. I went down to the desk and told them it wasn't working properly. he did come up and try to get it to work but was unable to do so. there were no other rooms available and I had to spend my first night in a warm room. it finally cooled off some after midnight. The next morning. they were able to give me a next room when one became vacant. The second room wasn't as nice as the first room. I had no table and chairs. there was nothing to sit on. that second day I went on a tour and when I came back all I wanted to do was take a shower. there was no soap and shampoo in the shower and I'm naked. I had to put clothes on go to the desk and tell him I have no shampoo and soap. I also think housekeeping may have stolen my heating pad. I got to my next location and realized I don't have it. I really don't think I left it behind because I checked that room very good. I could have possibly accidentally left it in the first room and in my hurry to pack up the next morning before going on a tour from moving first room to the second room, but housekeeping could have brought it down to me in the second room.

we were pretty happy with our assigned room, except that we had to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to it. There was no kettle but we were given one when we requested. No table, so we had to place the kettle on the floor to boil our water.
Though not marketed as an AIRBNB, it operates like one, though there must be at least a dozen rooms in this building. There's no reception desk! When we arrived, we walked thru an open door and waited some minutes inside a ”waiting area” before someone appeared to hand the keys to us. When he left we were left wondering how we would ask for help if we needed it - there's no phone in our room, or anywhere in the building! Thankfully, the few times we wanted help, someone miraculously showed up!!
You can stay in a room of a historic building. It's expensive, so access is quite hard, but the view is great. The owner's personality is the best. Everything is clean and old, but the air conditioner is well equipped and comfortable. The restaurant is also delicious and reasonable. The parking lot was managed to stop on the free street.
