We had a great stay at Summit hotel, my family enjoyed a lot, the service is great, staff are friendly. The swimming pool which my kids enjoyed and had fun, surely will come back again to stay foe another trip. Location is very convenient for shopping and grab some food. Overall it's a perfect place to stay during our stay in tacloban.

Very basic breakfast No restaurant (only a basic set breakfast) Basthroom is small and full of mould Single beds are narrow and pillows are slaps of foam No bottled water (you are supposed to get purified wtaer from a dispenser in the corridor The corridor is very noisy (doors slamming) Two lifts but only 1 working (cost savings?) On the positive side: a very reliable and high speed internet. Overall, a very basic local hotel not really reflected in the name.

We stayed at Hotel Estrella for one night before our flight to Boracay, and everything was smooth. The room was clean, and the staff were very accommodating. My son even forgot his wallet in the hotel — we didn’t call them about it, which was our mistake.

The room was small, compared to the original booking that I had reserved. They cannot find my booking reservations so they had to put me in 1 of the rooms available. I booked for a Deluxe Suite, and they said they can’t locate my booking. So they had to transfer me to a smaller room, which is quite a downgrade to what I had paid. No compensations provided. Anyway, the room was still fine, but cleanliness is not at its best. They didnt really do much effort to clear signs of previous visitor. See photo below. Overall experience, average.

It’s a budget hotel in the centre of Tacloban. You get what you pay for. We just wanted a cheap place to stop overnight for the airport (only a 10 minute drive). Served us well for the price.

A FANTASTIC place with a great view and coral reef in front...The resort have everything you need, three swimming pool, big and comfortable rooms, a organized fitness gym and all the staff are so kinds,helpful and also funny....I couldn' t forget this time at Blue deep resort and I'll be back here next year hundred%. MMiss SigWe had to ask the front desk staff to transfer us to another room because the aircon unit wasn’t working. There’s a water dispenser at the 3rd floor. Breakfast is buffet; not much selection but it’s okay to get you by. No elevator as well. Location is great. 24 hours open Andok’s and supermarkets are near. ATM machines are everywhere. Must visit restaurants: Ocho; Prakaz bbq; Fahrenheit food Center. The hotel restaurant is a good place to dine too. Huge servings and tasty. Very friendly staff also. Full of cute and antique stuff in this hotel which are definitely collectors items; very interesting. Tip: if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room not on the street side as the vehicles tend to be very noisy since the rooms are just until the 4th floor.

GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The location is fantastic—prime and easily accessible, making it very convenient for exploring the area. I had room service initiated even though I didn’t request it, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room itself was okay—comfortable enough with a working AC that kept us cool. The washroom was fine, though nothing exceptional. The hotel’s aesthetic is beautiful, with a great vibe that really adds to the experience. The Filipino breakfast options were delicious, and I really enjoyed starting the day with a hearty meal. Overall, this hotel offers great value with its helpful staff, excellent location, and good amenities. I’d definitely stay again!
