A quiet monument

Tsukiji Village seems to have been in the middle of the Tama River during the Edo period. However, in 1811 (Culture 8), a major flood occurred, and most of the villages were drained, and the village was moved to a place rich in spring water on the terrace of the Tama River. After that, 'Tsukiji' survived as a village name, a village name and a town name, but it seems that the town name Tsukiji disappeared in 1965.
