The predecessor of the North Hot Spring Scenic Area is the Hot Spring Temple. The Ming Dynasty was rebuilt into a three-dwelling hall, and the Qing Kangxi period was renovated to form the existing pattern. In May 1927, under the initiative of the famous patriotic industrialist Lu Zuoqian, Bayan celebrities from all walks of life raised more than 10,000 oceans and built Jialingjiang Hot Spring Park. Today, the park still retains stone monuments, bearing in mind the names of those who benefited the mulberry.
