Gegentala Grassland

Gegentara is Mongolian, meaning "bright grassland". Gegentara grassland is located in the Siziwang Banner of Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, 140 kilometers from the capital of the autonomous region Hohhot City, 200 kilometers from Ulanqab City, and the asphalt road is like a black ribbon that extends to tourist spots, which is a national line attraction. Since its opening to Chinese and foreign tourists in 1979, more than 40,000 tourists from more than 50 countries and regions have been received, and more than 200,000 domestic tourists have been visited. Inner Mongolia Gegentara Grassland Tourism Center is located on the Dorbert (Siziwangqi) grassland in the north of Daqingshan in Inner Mongolia, 128 kilometers away from the capital of the autonomous region, Hohhot City. The center covers an area of nearly 10,000 mu and has a total assets of more than 400 million yuan. Gegentara Grassland Tourism Center is one of the five grassland tourist attractions in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, one of the first batch of 4A-level tourist attractions (points) in the country. In July 2004, it was named by the National Tourism Administration as the first batch of national workers and farmers (pastoral) tourism demonstration points. In 2005, the "Gegentara" trademark was recognized as "Inner Mongolia famous trademark".
