Yiting Ming Cliff Stone Inscription is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River outside the small north gate of Binjiang Avenue in the city of Zhangzhou City, about 1 km from the city center. It is a natural rock with east and west lengths of 3.8 meters and north and south widths of 3.3 meters. The old name Guanyin Cliff is commonly known as Monkey Stone. The stone inscription is a precious inscription left by the famous people of the Tang Dynasty Li Yangbing, Li Yan, and Yuan Yu in the first year of Yongtai (AD 765). Here is a small island in the heart of the river, Tang Yongtai years (765) here Budi Jianting, Li Yangbing named it Yiting, and wrote the preamble with Xiaoyan, written by Li Yan inscription, Li Yan with the affiliation writing inscription, paragraph, and engraved on the boulder, was Song Jiang Zhiqi called the three. This inscription is described in Song Ouyang Xiu "Collection of Ancient Record", "Daming Yitongzhi", Qing Qian Daxuan "Qianyantang Jinshi Wenwei", Wu Rongguang "Jinshi Jiqingguan Jinshi", and "Guquanshanguan Jinshi Wenbian". Because it is often flooded by the river, there are fewer transmissions in the past. In 1988, the State Council of the People's Republic of China announced it as a key cultural relics protection unit nationwide.
