What travelers say:

Located in Muntri Street, the Penang Ta kam Hong or Goldsmiths Guild was built in 1903. This temple cum association building is the oldest and among the largest in Malaysia. A statue of Wu Ching, the patron saint of goldsmiths sit at the main alter with rows of ancestral tablets lining behind. Dragons coil around stone columns with two stone lions standing guard at the main entrance. The buildings is closed to public most of the time. Though restored it now looks quite run-down. There is an interesting artwork on the neighbouring wall
