Jinggang Mountain Mint

Jinggangshan Mint is located in Ciping Town, Jinggangshan City, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province. This is the first Mint of the Red Army. Although it was rebuilt later, it still reflects the situation at that time.

In late April 1928, Zhu De and Mao Zedong's two armies met in Jinggangshan Victory Division, and in early May officially announced the establishment of the Fourth Army of the Chinese Revolutionary Army of Workers and Peasants (later renamed the Red Fourth Army), and the army continued to grow. The enemy forces of Xiangqi and Xiangqi provinces also implemented frequent military "encirclement" and strict economic blockade on the revolutionary base of Jinggangshan. The generals and people of the Red Army Department fought local tyrants and seized a large number of jewelry and silver utensils on the battlefield. Xie Guanlong and other Xie brothers as masters, in the village of Shangjing on Jinggang Mountain, borrowed the peasants' houses of Jiagui, and founded the Jinggangshan Red Army Mint.
