A museum where you can see the history of the Kingdom of Johor. The story after the fall of the Kingdom of Malacca is expressed in order with paintings all over the wall, and it seems that you are looking at a part of the Malay Chronicle. It was an impressive exhibition that tells the history of the battle, maritime trade, transfer of capital, exchanges with foreign countries, alliances, betrayal, etc. 々 The fate of the turbulent Malay kingdom.
This museum can provide accurate information to visitors with the history of Johor and Kota Tinggi and what is on display, hopefully visitors can gain knowledge, the purpose is not just an exhibition, but the exhibition here is also academic.
roughly .it's a gud place to visit
This museum was re-opended in March 2019 and houses an excellent display of kris, spears, and cannon. The walls are covered with pictures portraying major historical moments in the History of Johor and there is plenty of information in English to tell you about the various sultans and their troubles. There is also an English-speaking guide who can show you around. What is missing is an obvious story to explain the relevance of everything that is on display, and the painting of Sir Stamford Raffles and his entourage, signing the Treaty of Friendship in 1819, shows a Dutchman and what looks like a Portuguese soldier! So, how accurate is everything else?
nice and beautiful places
