I went to St. Mary Ski Resort in Kawasaki Town, Miyagi Prefecture. It was surprisingly vacant probably because of lack of snow, but I was able to enjoy it enough.
(St. Mary) I think it's better than other ski resorts.
From Sendai, you can go in about an hour by using National Highway 286. Parking other than the ski resort is free, but you can walk a little. I used a ski school this time, but the fee was 3000 yen for 90 minutes. The lift ticket was 2300 yen with a ５ hour lift ticket and a 800 yen meal ticket using the discount ticket in the sports store. I think it's better than other ski resorts. There is also a children's meeting, and it is safe even with children.
Snow fluffy
There aren't many lengths and types of courses, but I enjoyed it enough as a beginner. It was good that the snow quality was powder-shaped and it didn't hurt.
