    Feel so nice!

    When you Visit there, you can feel kind of magic and Japanese soul. There are no architectures and Temple. But we feel great deity in there. Fantastic holly Grand.we get!

    It's just a wall of large rock, though

    Unless you are interested in Japanese history or folklore, this shrine is nothing special. Here the object of worship is rock wall itself, reflecting ancient way of Shinto.

    It is said to be the oldest shrine in Japan, and there is no main shrine or hall of worship, and a megalith with a height of 45 meters is the divine body. A large depression called "Hotoho" at the foot of a giant rock is said to be a graveyard for Izanaminomikoto, and is surrounded by white stones. The megalith of the Shintai is large enough to be seen from a distance. An annual festival is held every February and October, and a rope bundled with seven ropes is hung from the top of the divine body. This time I visited in late February, so I saw a new rope in February and a rope 2 book in October last year. ...
