Xionggu Observation Deck

Xionggu Observation Deck is located on the way to Jinsha River outside Lijiang City, Yunnan. This observation deck is the best point of three views in one. The upper left is Haba Snow Mountain, the upper right is Yulong Snow Mountain, and the lower middle is the Jinsha River. The Jinsha River has turned a big bend here.

Xionggu Observation Deck is the best place to view the three scenery in one. It is located on the way to the first bend of the Yangtze River (next to Shigu Town), and you can see the gorge between the Jinsha River and the Jade Dragon and the Haba Snow Mountain (Tiger Leaping Gorge is the most dangerous section). In fact, when the weather is good, Lijiang can see the wonders of the same frame of Jade Dragon Sands on the side of the road to Shigu (first bend).

There is an observation deck in the road from Lijiang to Shangri-La. The scenery is very good and you can see the mountains. It is worth parking and having fun.

From Lijiang to Shangri-La, I came to this observation deck not far away, and many cars stopped to watch the scenery. On the one side is Jade Dragon and on the other side is Haba Snow Mountain, which is very spectacular.

On the mountain road west of Lijiang City, there is a mountainside called Xionggu Observation Deck, located on the hillside outside a mountain gate. From the observation deck, you can see Haba Snow Mountain and Yulong Snow Mountain.
