    Anthrax remains

    Original Text

About 15 minutes walk from Mikasa Railway Village, the remains of the coal mine remain in the greenery. It looks like a ruin and it feels a little difficult to enter.

A ruin group that is easily seen

    Original Text

I like coal mine facilities, so I went there. I drove from the railway village, but there was no guide and it was a little inconvenient. When I went to the back, there was a new signboard, so if you are going on the same route, please go to the back and park. Artificial objects taken into nature

    Original Text

It is in nature that you can't believe there was a large coal mine. It is a few minutes back from the nearby railway exhibition facility. I didn't feel alone in the evening, but I went to see it. The melancholy scene was impressive, such as the decaying truck and the concrete facility that has become only pillars. It seems to be a bear activity area, and there was a signboard 々. Even if there are multiple people, I think it is necessary to carry a bear bell.

they connect the remains of the horonouchi coal mine by the promenade.

    Original Text

Remains such as mine entrances, winding facilities, and coal selection factories are connected by sidewalks, and explanations are given. This is the only such initiative in Hokkaido. I don't like ruins, but I'm deeply moved that the city, where state-of-the-art buildings are lined up and workers are filled, has returned to the wilderness with some remains.
