I decided to go because the name was similar to Korankei and the autumn leaves were Mikoro. It seems to be read as Kaochidani. There are several parking lots in tourist spots where you can enjoy driving through a deep valley. You can enjoy the rocks on the cliffs and the autumn leaves of the river, but when I went, it was a light rain. .. .. I entered from Lake Shorenji and went back and forth to the parking lot on the Nara Prefectural border. Is the road a little narrow?
In early November, I happened to pass by, but there were many people driving and touring with wonderful columnar joints and autumn leaves. There is no sidewalk, so walking was a little 々 attention was necessary. The Shorenji River was also a beautiful river. It seems that the road will be closed in winter. I was lucky this time.
It was dyed very beautifully. The valley continues along the main road so you can enjoy the scenery while driving. There are restaurants nearby where you can eat pizza using hot springs and seasonal vegetables, so it's fun to travel around.
I stopped by on the way back from sightseeing in Nabari. You can see it as soon as you pass through Lake Seirenji and run along the Seirenji River as it is. There are quite a few car streets and the road width is narrower, so be careful when passing. There is a parking space along the road, although it is narrow near Korokukei. The beautiful river flow, the approaching mountain surface, and the beauty of columnar joints create an indescribable landscape.
