Interesting Combination Structure (Teikan)
Designated as an Important National Cultural Treasure, it is interesting for the Teikan construction of a combination Western-style steel-reinforced lower floors & a Japanese-style Kawara Roof based ...
It is located in the government office area on the north side of central Nagoya City. It's a heavy building, but I can tell that one of the designers is famous for bank architecture. It is said that the roof imitated Nagoya Castle in Japanese style, but I thought that it was not necessary to imitate it here because it was right there.
Places such as the governor's office that you can't usually see were open for free. Especially the governor's office is large and magnificent. It seems that it is sometimes used for locations such as movies. Even so, the Aichi Prefectural Office, which still uses such an old building, is excellent.
The entrance door is magnificent. It's a pity that the tile part is a countermeasure against pigeons or there is a net ... If you go on weekdays, you can go inside and see it. I want you to stop the useless battle between Mayor Kawamura and Governor Omura.

The " Imperial Coron" style, dated before the Second World War, survived the American bombings.
